Residence Inn Chicago Midway Airport

I was staying at the Residence Inn earlier this year for work. I was here for longer than month and let me tell you, the hospitality here is above and beyond. Everyone here from the front desk to the custodians were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and attended to when needed. The front desk crew were extremely helpful in giving out recommendations for food or whatnot in the area or the city. Shoutout to Diana for giving out some amazing Mexican food recs in the area. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel and stay here again. Thank you Residence Inn for making my work trip way better!

Wonderful stay! We had a rough flight in, Brenda at the front desk could see my pain and accommodated an early check in, friendly and genuine. Room and common areas super clean, one small challenge with a TV in the bedroom not working and Alex from maintenance had it fixed in under 5 minutes from the time I called the front desk. Yes, under 5 minutes and not embellished. 5-star stay. Finally, the manager on the way out, also so helpful, and personally reached out to arrange our shuttle back to Midway. Thank you Brenda, Alex, Manager on duty and Residence Inn - great stay.

Great location for Midway, rooms were super clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. King bed with sofa bed was super nice with kids. The closet had sliding doors and they kept getting out of place every time you tried opening it. But other than that little inconvenience, it was good. Breakfast was good.Rooms: 4/5

I stayed here this past Labor Day Weekend and it was not worth the ridiculous $412 I paid. I walked in the room to an old, moldy smell. There were white stains on the headboard, stains on the carpet and walls, and dust all over the surfaces. I could barely sleep because it just wasn't a clean environment. I ended up cutting my stay short and checking out that next morning. I called to speak to a manager about the lack of cleanliness, only to be forwarded to a voicemail and not have anyone return my call. Word of advice, if you're staying near Midway Airport, choose ANY of the other hotels but this one.

Our flight got delayed so Residence Inn was the only one that was open for a last minute booking. Ashley was excellent and made our situation feel better by offering toothbrushes and toothpaste since we had no luggage. Hotel had complimentary breakfast and it was pretty good. They would’ve gotten a five start rating but the way housekeeping is done at this particular location wasn’t up to the standards that I’ve come to expect with Marriot properties. Definitely a great location and close to everything. The construction made things a bit frustrating on the main roadway to the shopping and grocery stores but Jimmy’s makes up for that!! Great food if you’re a Chicago native you will understand!! Lol.

Great service overall. Check in & check out was awesome. No lines no fuss no waiting. Staff was exceptionally nice & respectful. Will go back again. One of the best stays I’ve had in a long time !!

If you’re flying into Midway, this is probably the best hotel you can stay at. The price was good and the customer service is excellent.Rooms: 5/5

In the Hotel complex just south of MDW Chicago Midway airport. Free shuttle to the airport. About 7 big chain hotels in this campus with semi-gated parking. No problem getting to the rail or airport. Good Residence as expected. Above average on their free evening meals which were nice. I especially enjoy the historical aviation related photography displayed inside.
