Awesome getaway for my 65 Birthday. Amazing casino with incredible king suites with massive bathroom & walk in closet. Super clean in all areas although spa swimming pool floor could use a good cleaning. Lots of gaming tables with real dealers. Location by car is good but not walkable to anything outside of the resort. Morning breakfast at the Bistro was excellent & spot on service
This is a 2-3 star resort at best. The rooms aren’t bad, but the service is atrocious. I booked a single king size bed. When checking in, the people in front of us were arguing about something and ended up having 3 employees come over to deal with them. Finally another counter was opened after about 20 minutes as the line was starting to get pretty long. When I went to just opened counter, I was informed that they only have double queens. When I informed him that’s not what I reserved, he said that checkin is at 4pm and I’m checking in at 9pm and it was my fault. Who blames the customer? I then realized the other couple was arguing about the exact same thing. I then asked for money off since I wasn’t getting what I reserved. Anything would have been fine just as a good faith apology. He told me that’s not how it works and the room I reserved was not guaranteed. While this was going on, some patrons in line started yelling at each other and were about to get into a fist fight. After some curse words at each other, cooler heads prevailed and one of the patrons left. Security never did show up. This was completely self-induced by the casino employees. 40 minutes after I showed up, they had yet to check in a single customer. He finally offered me a king bed in a handicapped room which I accepted. I went and grabbed some food from the bistro which was fine, but they automatically included gratuity. The service was terrible there too, but gratuity is included so there’s no motivation to improve it. I refused to gamble here or eat here again out of principle. I’ll never stay or visit any Resorts World ever again just based on the employees’ attitudes and arrogance towards the customer. It’s a shady operation and it shows.
My husband and myself have only been to the casino aspect of the resort, and we had a really lovely time. The casino was spotless and even the washrooms were immaculate. Good amount of table games and the Sports Book has lots of TVs. I wish there were more dining options, like for quick snacks, but anything we did have was tasty. Great for a quick little afternoon adventure.
Hotel was immaculate. Spotless and beautiful. When I was at reception, the attendant notified me that I was the guest of the day. I was upgraded to suite and received some very generous gifts. Hotel is located next to the old Bethlehem steel mill. Food was good and casino was fun. Great diversity in slots and table games.Rooms: 5/5
I love my little getaway place. Love the rooms and the views!! Shout out to Stephanie, our dealer was amazing.... Now grant it I lost... but she was amazing!! The world needs more of her!! So fun to be around, cheered us on and had fun doing it!! Thank you Stephanie, thank you for making the loss less painful!! Cheers until next time!
We stayed at the Alder hotel and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful when we checked in as were the cleaning crew when we needed supplies. Thank you Delvis! Very gracious. The hotel and pool are very nice. We really enjoyed Dos Gatos too. The food and atmosphere were amazing! The gaming area is nicely sized and they have love table games. We come here 2 hours away because it is a more enjoyable experience than the casinos i my local area. It is cleaner, the people and staff are nicer, we simply have more fun here. It is the best kept secret in the area.
Came here to visit and take my grandpa for a casino trip. He loves to play the slots. I let him do his thing while I explored a bit. The back bar wasn't open and the front bar was closed. However, by the time we left, the front bar was open. I played the slots and had no luck. My grandpa broke even. I played roulette real ball spinning, but digital screen and I ended up winning money and breaking even. I walked to the back and watched people play baccarat. There was a dealer there who explained the rules to me and he was super nice. If I had grasped the concept a little better, I would have played. Speaking of the dealer at the baccarat table. There were two guys who were REALLY rude, yelled at him, bent cards, etc. He kept his cool and had complete control of the table. I was very impressed. I will be back to take my grandpa to the slots.
The casino is pretty nice and not crowded at all during the week. It was very fun, when you win it's good and when you lose it sucks. We did t do either but it felt like a win, just to experience this place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Their food at the casino was very pricey but good quality The rooms were way overpriced and nothing special
The casino itself is nice and the drinks were good. We stayed at the Adler and had a horrible experience. We got our room and the TV didn’t work. We called the front desk and was told there was no one to look at the TV as the maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends. Seriously? It’s a hotel how do you not have maintenance on duty 24/7? For $300/night+ the TV better work. The food is mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. Also the Adler is not connected to the hotel not even a tunnel. If you want to go to the casino and it’s raining…good luck staying dry
Copy & Paste of email I sent to the spa director: First and foremost I want to say thank you for an amazing day! I had a wonderful time as I always do whenever I am a guest at your spa! Your staff is fantastic, pleasant, polite, welcoming, compassionate, courteous, and always have on the most important part of their uniform, SMILES! Next is this visit I was accompanied by my mother, grandfather and grandmother. My grandmother has some obvious physical disabilities with being mobile. And your staff was STELLAR with this! Staff greeted us at the door and held them open for her to get through on her electric scooter. Throughout the entire process staff ensured to point out all the handicap accessible areas; and not once used the word handicap but rather words such as larger, more spacious and/or easier to access. It was a wonderful opportunity and one that I’m sure will be a long remembered outing for my grandparents. So again I thank you for this wonderful opportunity to spend an enjoyable adult day out with my family!
