It was our first time here and while the front staff seemed okay, there's some serious issues with the seafood and the receiving staff. We walked into the wrong area receiving to get to the seafood place. I guess the manager in the receiving area came out and just blatantly yelled at us nonstop saying we are not allowed to be there. Understood, but we were instructed to take that way to get to the seafood section. Later on we realized it's just right across from the receiving area. We asked the guy if he could show us where it is and he just yelled at us and kept interjecting us saying if we have any questions then we need to go to the front, instead of just simply telling us that it's on the other side and we just have to go around and walk into the freezer section. I mean it's not hard to help out a bit. Of course we were sorry that we went into the wrong area and were notified that it's dangerous to be in the area, it would have been a better experience if you were just nicer about it. No need to yell and make a scene. It doesn't do anyone good. We were there to shop. That's all. If you don't want people to accidentally walk into receiving other than the staff themselves, just close the door. Funny enough, while we were shopping, a bunch of staff were driving forklifts around like no one's walking between them. Maybe we picked the wrong day to shop. Probably won't be back another time.
Be careful going to this business. Your car windows could be busted out in broad daylight and have everything stolen while in the parking lot. And they will refuse to show you the footage that could possibly help you find the perpetrators. Leading you to believe it’s probably an inside job.
Poor experience. A line reaching the back of the warehouse. 2 cashiers open taking their sweet time. You need to hire more cashiers as it is overwhelming how long you have to wait to get out of here. Also a suggestion, if a customer has 7 carts worth of items, you should do a maximum of 2 maybe 3 carts allowed for checkout per customer, and allow the next customer to get checked out. It’s not fair for customers with 4 items to wait for the other who has 742 items on 7 carts.
Great place to go if your a business owner. Great for if your having a big event or party. They everything you need every down to utensils and etc. Love to go here when I want crab legs.
They open at 6:00am first you need to sign in receiving area.the peoples in receiving area very respectful this location is extremely small for simi truck .over night parking for trucks
Pleased with the items and especially the fresh fish was clean and the guys help load all my boxes into the truck. Only improvement is have more checkout available. Only 2 lines working and people down isles
When a customer call to request a quantity in a box, Please have approximate quantity for price comparison. As long as you’ve been selling food, you should know the “approximate” quantity in a box of fish, chicken, etc. by now. Please don’t hang up on customers without signaling you’re no longer on the phone. Say, “bye, have a nice day, thank you for calling.” This demonstrates great customer care.
Horrible service at fresh seafood section. I called a man work there for help, he ignored me, he even did not look at me. When he came close to me, he said he was doing to help me. I wonder I haven't have a chance to say anything how he can help me. I stepped out while he kept muttering to himself .
I've been here many times. I think it's ok. I do think they are disorganized and always seem as though your in a warehouse. Many times I feel like I'm in there way trying to spend money at least that's how they seem. The lines are frequently long and there fairly helpful when you ask asked for assistance although there never enthused. I do both enjoy and prefer the one in Alexandria VA. But who's there competition?
Generally The very organized and kept clean staff helpful and cheerful depending on the day and time sometimes long waits surbhi checked out
