I regret to report that this location has quite a bit of expired food on the shelves for sale, so restaurant owners please beware. I came into this location today 1/14/23 and purchased two packs of beef bacon. Got back home 100 miles round trip and realized that both packs expired on 1/12/23 photos attached. I also had to put a bottle of Ken's ranch back quickly before checking out because I noticed it was expired as well. Went back to get another and saw that all of the bottle on the shelves including the ones in the cases were expired as of Dec 21, 2022. When I called to obtain resolution, I spoke with the manager, Mauro assistant branch manager, and he was very rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful and insisted that I needed to make another 100 mile round trip just to get the money refunded to my card. This is a shame because Restaurant Depot sells food to the people who sell food to the public i.e. restaurant owners. Buyers beware of this location. I'm reporting to my bank, the BBB, and the department of health. Responding to management: I did email my concerns to the email address you provided on this and all other negative reviews. However, the email bounced back as it seems that email address is no longer in service.
Gerald and Brian = Amazing!!! These guys deserve raises. I usually shop at the Pompano store. But after coming here today I will never go back to the Pompano location. Literally a night and day difference. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly, polite and very helpful!!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience in the store today. Thank you guys!!!
They say open until 6 but if you go in after 5 all the aisles have pallets blocking them and employees will yell at you they are mopping the aisles people are still actively shopping in. Might just start ordering everything I cant get at Sams on Amazon. Tired of the abuse here
Well besides the police presence due to people physically altercating and customers verbally assaulting cashiers and the fact that they were low staffed under stocked and had an accident occur due to a pallet coming off a shelf and dropping 20 ft everything else was all right I would recommend driving all the way to Boca if you really need to go to restaurant Depot.
Check out has always been an issue. They need a 10 items or less register. I'm usually getting raw oysters and frozen crab so you lose oysters rapidly. I guess I need to bring a pre iced cooler.
Had a fair share of Covid related empty shelves but I got everything that I needed today. Even in the best situations you have to stop in regularly to get all the exact items that you need. This is true of most warehouse style food outlets Very quick check out today which also can be hit or miss. 7/21/2022 pretty much the same all good 10/4/22 very good fast check out
It's a 60 mile round trip but it's worth it. The BEST fish monger north of the keys or the Miami River.
Great place to shop especially if you're looking for special things like Dungeness crabs
The lines was terrible but eventually it moved fast..Almost made me leave the store
Truck drivers stay away, just tell your Dispatch you would rather be fired than bring anything to this place, 4 plus hours past appointment and still waiting.
