Great and quick service. Really traditional, cozy and clean. The food is simple but really tasty and it's a great location. Good price.
Great spot for lunch during work days. Their general Tao is very good. Love how crunchy it is. Their banana dessert is also a killer. Family owned business come try it out and support the local community.
The tonkinese soup entré is amazing. It's one of my favourites. The owner is really nice and friendly. You can taste the quality of the food and the freshness of the ingredients. This was my first visit but definitely not my last.
I will give a real honest review. This is the only pho place I’ve been in Montreal and it was terrible $14 for a small soup which is not shareable. The portions are not to be shared and it’s an average of $15+ per person and the place does not look nice. I find the prices vs portions ratio not reasonable. I have been to pho places in Toronto and there is a big difference. I hope this is not the best place in Montreal would be sad.
The service was fast and effective from beginning to end, everything served with a warm smile or comment. Servíngs were reasonable size and well presented. Ingredients fresh and cooked just right. Excellent value for $$
One of the best Pho places I've ever been to. I come from Toronto area where there are TONS of pho restaurants. This place is delicious. The service whom I assume is the owner was VERY friendly and hospitable. The broth is outstanding. My only complaint is the medium should be called a small... if you're hungry order the Large or X-large. I rarely finish my broth from pho places I basically licked the bowl clean at this one. A must dine if I'm ever back in montreal I will definitely come back
Had pho ....it was quite skimpy...couple of peices of beef with rice noodle. That was the only choice of pho on the menu. No meat balls, tripes, tandon or flank and no sprouts and basil on the side. No tea either. The broth was tasty though. The water they serve has some chemical taste to it. The service was friendly .
This place does really nice food - it has always been fresh when i have ordered. I usually order take out, and the owners are very polite and offer me green tea and a seat while i wait!
Strangely, for a Vietnamese place, the pad thai was the best I've EVER had: moist, loaded with delicate slivers of tender chicken and grilled shrimps, and spiced with vibrant, almost minty basil, complemented perfectly with a subtle lemonade, made from scratch. Part of a reasonably priced table d'hôte, the tom yum soup was rich and flavourful, and the fried banana, which the server insisted I eat between sips of green tea, transcended the usual Southeast Asian dessert cliché.
Best soup Tum Yum in town and the most sympatic owners ever! Go and enjoy, its also bring your bottle so don't forget the wine!
