I ate here on October 8, 2021, with my wife, for a late lunch/early dinner. From the outside, it has a lot of potential. When you walk is, you are transported back in time to an old wild wild west saloon. Very cool, with lots of potential. There are taxidermy animals, furs, antique firearms and cowboy pictures on the wall. But, all the items are very dusty and dirty. The servers all wear a leather vest, almost like they are part of a biker gang. Service was ok, nothing bad, but nothing spectacular. The food was terrible and bland. The chips were dry and stale. The salsa had no spice. The guacamole was just mashed avocado. We order steaks. I had a Ribeye. It was very oily, greasy and had a lot of fat. It was a very poor quality cut of meat. I couldn't cut it with the terrible dull steak knife I had. My wife had the Porterhouse, her experience was the same as mine, poor quality meat, no flavor and nearly impossible to cut. I cannot recommend this place and I will not return, until they do a deep cleaning, get much better quality meats, send their cooks to school to learn how to cook and flavor the food and get real steak knives.
Meat was ok. Tripas had a burned taste. The chorizo tasted like sausage America links like farmer John's. I wasn't impressed especially with the price. It's a beautiful place. Like a very heavy adorned Black Angus. But 50 % the taste. I was expecting so much more delicious tasting meat. DisappointedFood: 1/5
I went yesterday at noon it was empty it was just us so waiter was a old man and younger one they were very nice and everything was good .. i order breakfast for myself & kiddos my husband got a steak ... i did see it was a bit pricey like 980 pesos which it evens to like 50dollars .. but was good came with a baked potato but before bringing the steak they brought him a quesdailla & salad and a soup so i thought that even the price .. but it was a great experience service & waiters .. we will return again since we travel to tijuana frequently
The food is pretty good but a bit overpriced for TJ standard. We spent 50$ on 3 people but the amount of food they give you is maybe worth 35$ worth especially for the area that its in. Pretty sure we past a prison a couple streets before and the area looked pretty shady. The service was slow as we waited almost an hour and a half to order food and receive it. There were a lot of staff on hand but not enough attention to customers. The other family that arrived before us didnt even get to order until after we ordered. They looked very annoyed that we got to order first but we had waved them down twice. The waiter was just gossiping with the cashier we think he was crushing on her. Although the waiter was helpful after a moment, he seemed annoyed he had to even wait on us at first. The tables looked a little dirty and it smelled like ammonia in half the restaurant. If I would go back I would order to go and call ahead other than that I wouldn't sit in for food.
Service was amazing ambient was good. Very Over priced of the quantity of portions
This is NOT a Steak House. It is a good spot to get together with a good crowd or just to chat and snack on meat slices flat, the parillada is a good plate to share. I ordered a Porterhouse and it was more like the steak they give you at IHOP for Steak & Eggs. If you are not looking for juicy cut, this is not the place.
Good rib eye steak, delicious! But it only comes with a baked potato, for the price they should add a salad. But the food was delicious.
Very happy with the service, super fast the food was excelent, We order la parrillada clasica. Excelent flavor and made just right.
My favorite place for breakfast in Tijuana; great steaks, good service, cool western decor.
Very average quality, small portions, nice atmosphere, but waaay overpriced for area & quality
