I've been a member of Restoration Fitness for over a year and it's the best experience I've ever had at a gym. The staff are welcoming and supportive. There is no body shaming here. The clients are friendly, greet each other by name, chat a bit during workouts and encourage one another. The workouts are designed for me and my trainer tracks my progress and makes adjustments. When I started at Restoration Fitness, I had knee problems. As they helped me gain strength, the knee pain went away. I am stronger, healthier and pain free. Their approach to fitness is sustainable, healthy and fun. Please check them out, it's worth it!
Restoration Fitness was just what I was looking for to restart my fitness routine. Sean, Jennifer, Jessie, Linda and Alex were all very welcoming and made me feel at home right from the start. The small group environment and personalized exercises allowed me to progress at my own pace. The 45 min sessions are perfect for a busy schedule, and accommodations are always made for those unexpected aches and pains that pop up in our lives. The environment at Restoration Fitness is always warm and friendly. I am most grateful for their commitment to meeting people where they are at and motivating us to achieve our health goals- big and small. The personalized attention in today's busy world is greatly appreciated!
I’ve been attending RF for a total of 3 months. I began with the desire to learn how to eat again, after using powdered, diet food for a long time and the need to strengthen my body. The Dangerously Fit Program gave me the opportunity to have a plan to eat healthy real-food and a quick start to regain my strength that I had lost over the last several years. So far, I love, love, love the food! The recipes are incredible, and I feel so much better… and lighter! The coaches have been amazing - kind and encouraging, but also challenging. I appreciate the way that each of us receives personalized attention from them, that I can grow at my own pace, and that it is not a one-size-fits-all class. I truly appreciate the whole team at RF!
I am so glad I found Restoration Fitness! Sean and his team are by far the BEST!!! The level of care, and individualization you get here is incredible! The trainers help you to become the best version of yourself. The culture is motivating and uplifting. The team at Restoration Fitness have created magic in this place for anyone with any fitness goal level and ability level- you will leave your workout better than you walked in.
I am so grateful to be working with such a knowledgeable and supportive team of trainers and staff at Restoration Fitness. They have helped me regain a quality of life that I have not enjoyed for many years. Prior to joining Restoration Fitness, I had worked out and taken exercise classes at several different fitness centers. I was in ok shape but had limited range of motion in my legs and back and needed a hip replacement. The surgery and recovery went well but I developed knee pain and still had limited range of motion with normal activities such as climbing stairs, walking through our hilly neighborhood and gardening to be painful and challenging. Although I worked with 2 physical therapists at the other exercise facilities, there was little to no significant improvement. A friend of mine suggested I check out Restoration Fitness and talk to Sean. After my consultation with Sean, I felt excited because he had a more interesting and holistic approach than the other training facilities. Sean examined my knee and quickly presented a plan for strengthening and improving my use of it, with dramatic results in less than 3 months. During my training, Sean knew to develop and strengthen the smaller muscles before working on the larger ones. He also knew how to scale up my exercise regimen – reps and weight – so as to not overdo it or get a certain set of muscles out of sync. Now there is definite improvement in my range of motion, with no knee pain and I have full ability to walk up and down stairs and do other activities like a normal person. Concurrent to my exercise and training regimen, I decided to participate in a diet and weight loss course Sean was providing. As with his approach to exercise and training, Sean took a holistic approach, which looked at not only the types of foods that promote health but also provided shopping lists and recipes to help establish a healthy eating style. Weekly reporting of our measurements and weight also helped provide focus and motivation. At the end of the six week course, I had lost almost 30 lbs. Needless to say, the weight loss also has added to my general overall physical health and sense of well-being. Because RF provides a strong sense of community among the staff and members, I had the encouragement and guidance I needed to make such a significant and positive change in my life. And that structure and support also provides me confidence that I can maintain the health that I have regained at Restoration Fitness.
After hearing glowing testimonials about Sean and the Restoration Fitness team from two of my new neighbors I decided to give it a try. Although my favorite type of exercise is dancing, I recognized that I was losing strength and needed to supplement my Zumba classes and social dance with something extra. I used to think of weight training as boring, but that’s not true anymore! The small group sessions are the perfect balance of individualized attention and working at your own pace. Each of the three trainers I’ve worked with really listens, providing just the right amount of correcting my form, encouraging me to do just a bit more, and making each session fresh and fun. With the motivating in-studio music, I can even dance a little between each exercise set! I may sweat and grunt and groan “It’s only easy if you’re not doing it right” is my new favorite saying, but I always walk out with a smile, feeling good for the rest of the day. I am amazed at what I’ve been able to accomplish in these past 6+ months working with the team here. It’s reassuring as I get older to know I’m doing everything I can to maintain my health, and I can see the positive impact on my mental health as well.
Restoration Fitness is awesome!! Started working out 3 years ago I feel great and the team and staff there along with other members makes working out fun and enjoyable.
When I retired more than a year ago, I set two wellness goals for myself. First, I wanted consistent, meaningful exercise to replace the sporadic, ad hoc workouts that I got in hotel fitness centers. Second, I wanted to rehabilitate my shoulder which was sore from two decades of work induced injury. Having watched how my wife Joan benefited from Restoration Fitness workouts over several years, I decided to give it a try for myself. RF has been a game changer. Sean has the incredible ability to access each individual and tailor exercise routines that achieve the age-relevant balance and strength goals you desire. Today I am stronger and my shoulder no longer aches at night. The staff at Restoration Fitness are friendly, professional and take your best interests to heart; while the patrons are supportive, inspirational and just plane fun to be around.
I love this place! I called Restoration Fitness hoping they could help me fix my chronic hip and back pain. I knew that sitting around wasn’t helping it nor was it helping my mental health. I am so grateful for the knowledge of my trainers, knowing what exercises are safe and helping me get my form down as to not hurt my self any further. The community Sean has built here is amazing I love the people I work out with and I look forward to seeing them every day!
"Where do I begin? Maybe Aug 1, 2021 the first day I came into RF after a friend was sure I could find help. I was barely able to walk without a cane and definitely not able to get up from a chair without leaning on a table or holding on to someone. The orthopedic doctor was sure I needed a complete knee replacement. This was certainly going to be a challenge for me and the RF team. They started slowly with me, which really helped to build my confidence and strength. The trainers always tell me I'm doing the work and they are just my GPS! What an incredible GPS they have been! In a little over 10 months I’ve lost 65 pounds, I'm doing 20 consecutive sit-stands with a 30 pound weight, and leg pressing 130 pounds. It’s amazing! The improvements I’ve made have allowed me to go hiking & biking 3 & 4 mile trails with my kids. Seems unbelievable, but it’s true. The next time you start to think, I can't do that, it's too hard, I’m too busy, or I'M TOO OLD.....think again ........ I'm 81!!!!!!
