Habitat ReStore is a retail outlet selling donated, quality used and surplus building materials at a fraction of normal retail prices. Donation drop offs are welcomed Tues-Sat 10:00am-5:00pm but we prefer you contact us first.
ReStore merchandise can help you save on your construction or renovation project, while helping you local Habitat for Humanity Build more affordable housing in Columbia County for those in need.
Donated merchnadise comes from:
-Manufacturers and retailers donating merchandise that has been discontinued or is overstocked;
-Businesses donating floor models and mis-order;
-Local builders, contractors and individuals donating usable materials left over after construction, remodling and redecorating projects;
-Remodling companies donating removed materials such as kitchen cabinets, appliances, doors and windows, electrical and plumbing suppllies, flooring, etc.; and
-Individual homeowners eager to donate as they renovate and rebuild existing homes.
Habitat is a 501C (3), and the donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
We enthusiastically accept:
Furniture, new/unused building materials, lumber, insulation and supplies
Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring and roofing supplies
Large appliances in good working condition
Bathroom and kitchen cabinets and fixtures
Light fixtures
Doors, cabinets, windows and associated hardware
Large, un-upholstered furniture
Major tools and equipment
We’re sorry but we cannot accept:
Items that need repair, are missing parts, are stained, cracked, broken, moldy, rusted, or contain lead paint.
These are some specific things we are not able to accept:
Cribs, strollers, child car seats
Air conditioners
Fiberglass insulation (unless it's sealed in its original packaging)
Computers and peripherals
Televisions and other electronics
Upholstered furniture (unless unused)
Carpeting (unless new and unused)
Single pane windows (except for March and April)
Windows without frames or nailing flanges
Hollow core doors
Used light bulbs
Fluorescent tubes & fixtures
Opened/partially used cans of paint, stain or adhesive
Countertops with sink cutouts
Non-Energy Star appliances
Appliances over 5 years old
Office furniture- we want residential furnishings
Weapons
