A little Retail Elephant History...
My name is Amanda McAlister. I am a owner and operator. Retail Elephant started in 2015 as a little venture while I was pregnant with my daughter Madelyn. One day my husband Matthew and I were bouncing ideas on how to make some extra income and thousands of ideas and conversations later Retail Elephant Boutique was born.
We got the name Retail Elephant because initially we were going to sell the most random things ever and wanted a generic name but slowly over time we found the niche of JEWELRY and ACCESSORIES. Retail Elephant is always growing and we are carrying new items every day.
The word Elephant comes from the GIANT love that our son Lucas has for Elephants. Our family has adopted that love too. Lucas is also on the Autism Spectrum. Elephants are a symbol of COURAGE,STRENGTH, WISDOM & POWER and there could no better way to honor Lucas and the journey our family has been on to get where we are today.
