I deleted my last review bec I think I might have been too harsh. This is a great gym. The only problem I have is the amount of women that leave their plates on the machine. Just because it’s lighter weight doesn’t mean it’s ok to walk away without cleaning up. Practice gym etiquette. I had another word written here for these entitled housewives. In the morning it is very crowded, but the gym is very spacious so no one ends up on top of each other. Very clean. Mostly everyone wipes down the machines when they’re done. There is a trainer there that needs to start wiping down her benches when she’s done with her personal work out. It’s disgusting. She walks around with a nasty attitude and her pants far up her azz. Clean off your machines, you are an image of the gym and that’s disgusting. One more thing the girl that wears the crazy pants covered in tattoos. Someone needs to hire her as a trainer. That girl is a beast. Oh and the dumbbells go up to a 120.
I've always had great experiences at this Retro Fitness location. Vincent at the front desk always makes me feel welcome. I really appreciate his positive attitude, he's a real professional. It's not a perfect gym for everyone maybe, but I am always there at peak hours when it gets a little crowded and everyone has been kind, motivating, and polite.
Been feeling better from working out. The staff is engaging and professional. The gym is clean and organized, too. It’s been a pleasant experience.
One of the best Retro’s. Very well Maintained and a great location. Have been coming here for years and anytime I try a new location when I am traveling, it just reinforces my belief of how well this location is managed.
Very clean Gym probably one of the cleanest of all the Retro‘s I’ve been to.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here with the owner Stella. I was having an issue with my membership and she must’ve spent 30-45 minutes easy with me trying to help resolve it. You can tell she cares deeply about the experience for the gym goers and service provided by her gym. Highly recommend this location!
Was just in town visiting family for the weekend, and saw this local gym had a free day pass. Signed up, got all ready for the gym and headed over. Started to get set up in the gym when an older female manager came up and asked if we were local. I explained we were not, just visiting for the day. She then pointed to the sign and asked if we could read it instead of nicely explaining that the day pass is only for local residents. While I understand the policy in a tourist area, the manager had an undeniably horrible attitude, and I had already signed up for the pass and driven to the gym with no indication prior that this was the policy. Would not have wasted the drive if this was explained prior. The younger female employee working the counter was courteous the whole time, it was just the manager who felt the need to be rude.
I have been at this Retro for 9 years! It is an awesome gym and is more like a community where staff and members all know each other. The owners are awesome, and the staff is great. This is the best gym around!
Gym wouldn’t be terrible if it wasn’t for a group, particularly one of this group, but they all have to go. The one individual in particular is the most immature obnoxious child I have ever encountered. He continues to scream at the top of his lungs and yell as he struggles to work out. He has no clue what he is doing and all it does is bother everyone else there. Apparently he has been warned but he still continues to act like a 5 year old. Might have to cancel my membership if they don’t kick him out
