A community-wide effort to create a healthier Revere
Revere is a city on the move, growing and changing into a healthier community. Revere on the Move aims to ensure that everyone in Revere has access to healthy foods and easy, fun ways to stay active. With a historic beach, a network of neighborhood parks, and community members and organizations that care about Revere’s children, Revere offers fun and healthy activities that your whole family can enjoy.
Revere on the Move is an initiative of the MGH Revere CARES Coalition, a coalition of community members promoting the physical and emotional well-being of youth and families, with priority areas in prevention of substance use and childhood obesity. Partners include the City of Revere, Revere Beach Partnership, Revere Public Schools, Revere Parks & Recreation Department, Revere After School Partnership, the Revere Police Department, Revere Beautification Committee, Revere Public Library, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Revere CARES is a program of the Center for Community Health Improvement of Massachusetts General Hospital.
Revere on the Move is supported by the Revere CARES Coalition, City of Revere, and MassGeneral Hospital for Children, and funded by Mass in Motion, MA Department of Public Health
