Description

Southeastern University's Revolution Film Festival, now in its ninth year, celebrates short films and screenplays that exhibit moral transformation through their characters and the experiences that guide these moral expeditions. The Central Florida-based festival hosts relevant industry professionals offering valuable workshops covering producing and development as well as all the technical crafts. 2016 speakers featured, Pixar Story Artist, Matthew Luhn and, "Walking Dead" Director of Photography, Stephen Campbell.

After over twenty years at Pixar working on such iconic films as "Toy Story (1,2 and 3)", "Monster's Inc.", and "UP", we're thrilled to have Matthew Luhn returning to offer his Story Structure workshop for 2017. We'll also be hosting celebrated stunt coordinator, Jennifer Badger. Jennifer's credits range from television hit series to the biggest films in recent history including, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "Ant-Man", "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay", and "Transformers: Age of Extinction."

Finally, we're honored to have Anne Marie Gillen as this year's keynote speaker. Anne Marie is an independent Producer, Consultant, Lecturer and Corporate/Executive Coach who is extensively experienced in film development, financing and worldwide distribution. Her films have premiered at Cannes Film Festival, New York Film Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival. Her films have also been nominated for Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Independent Spirit Awards and DGA awards. She will be speaking on the "State of the Industry" on Saturday evening, April 1, 2017, at Southeastern University, 1000 Longfellow Blvd. Lakeland, Florida 33801.
