Step into a slice of Detroit City in Surf City USA and enjoy delicious, FRESH made Detroit style pizza! The pizza was made fresh in front of us, the ingredients from the basil leaf to the tomatoes and pepperoni, cheese, ALL Fresh!!! We tried the Detroit Style medium size pizza here at The Ria and thoroughly enjoyed it! Yummy!! We'll definitely be visiting again!! Enjoy delicious pizza, in a classic Americana 50s-60s style restaurant with classic music giving the place a groovy throwback, like Back to the Future! Come support a small local business and enjoy!!
Best pizza I’ve ever had, And I love pizza! That’s saying a ton. I pretty much make it a point to try out an amazing pizza place each month- We stopped into this amazing pizza spot to try out some Detroit style pizza in HB, and all I can say is WOW! No pizza will ever be the same. This is so amazingly good, they need to make it a franchise and have it available all around the state. Clean, friendly, and quick service. Great price point, and even to take it to the next level, the vibe even included local Detroit soda From Faygo, Whoop whooop! Don’t miss out, give the Ria a shot, you can thank me later
Best overall pizza in HB by a long shot. I love Detroit style and I’m glad it’s having its moment in the sun now, and The Ria does it as good as anyone, especially when Jeff is there making them himself. That’s how you know they’ll be a little extra good. I don’t know of a better Detroit style pizza spot in all of Orange County. The dough is perfect. The fact that they do individual slices made to order is awesome. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter to get the details on their weekly rotating “underground” pizza, which is always a treat.
This former motor city gal has been here several times with the teenage grandsons. Never disappoints on any level. While I enjoy my current favorite, the Queen Bee personal size, the two boys love to take down the large Meathead. It is the best pizza in town, hands down. The Detroit style crust is perfection, no matter if you are normally fond of thin or thick. Swing by, to listen to Motown tunes and enjoy a pop, and your made to order designer fresh delight.
First time here and I gotta say, simply amazing! Friendly staff, the food is outstanding and very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
100000/5 is what I'd really like to give Ria. We ordered 6 or 7 different pizzas from here for a party and every single one of our guests could NOT stop saying how incredible the pizza was. I think we had about 16 people total x 5 stars from all of them! They're still talking to us about how good the pizza was even days later Highly recommend!!
Incredible!! I have been here twice already and the food and service are consistently excellent. I have never tasted pizza like this before. It is light, crispy, cheesy, flavorful...everything you want in good quality pizza. The man behind the counter is so kind and welcoming and he has great taste in music!! I live in the neighborhood and I can't wait to go back! Vegetarian options: Great non-meat combinations!
Outstanding pizza! I enjoyed the Queen B and my husband enjoyed a pepperoni pizza. Ww both had the personal size and it was just the right amount. Everything is made fresh to order. Great pizza choices along with salad. Cannot wait to go back!Food: 5/5
Just had lunch here for the first time today. Dropped off some artwork and decided to grab lunch with my driver. We stopped in and it was a pleasant surprise. The salad and the apple honey vinaigrette as well as all the slices were phenomenal. I highly recommend it. My driver loved it. Really truly a great Detroit pizza in my books... Looking forward to the next few slices. Thanks Jeff for a great lunch ...
Picked up several pizzas and salad last at The Ria for dinner. Entire family loved all the Detroit-style options we chose. Classic pepperoni but also two signature pizzas including the Carolina Q. Clearly super fresh Ingredients are used. The employees were pleasant and happy to accommodate our son’s food allergies. They took our order then texted when our order was ready for pick up. Super convenient and delicious. We will be putting this place into the regular rotation.
