Disappointed in my visit today, I don't usually write reviews but this bothered me for some reason. I try to support small business, especially in Battle Creek so I went in to purchase a pair of steel toe work boots, they did not have them in stock, I asked if they would order them and they would not because, if they did not fit, they would be stuck with them??? I have ordered boots in the past from them with no issue and so what if you're stuck with them, you sell them, its what you do. I am disappointed that they don't realize this is why on-line shopping is going to shutter their business. I ordered those same boots on Amazon for less money and they will be delivered tomorrow. Please consider changing your policy and your store is starting to look like a petting zoo. Please decide if you want to sell shoes or animals Thanks
I really needed a great pair of shoes for my plantar fasciitis so I thought I would stop by and check out the store that has been in my community since I was a child. Apparently I haven't been back to this establishment since returning to BC. I walked in and a huge cat started toward me coming in the front door. I am deathly afraid of cats and turned around and ran out the door and all the way to my car. I understand the pets are "people too", but I can NEVER go to Rice's shoes. Sad because I was hoping to purchase something for the pain. Oh well. Please think about your customers!!!!! Bad for business.
It was a very busy day at Rice Shoe's but as always the staff was always first class and took great care of me. Can't say enough about the quality of products and most of all the staff, first class. Thanks again Rice Shoe's .
Best place I've seen for work shoes as well as daily wear. Top costumer care. Actually measured my feet and checked for needed support. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality pair of shoe with the ability to comeback and have them touched up when needed.

I shop at Rice's Shoe Store for all my children, friendly and personal shoe fittings help everyone get the right fit and feel for all foot care.
Love the service and care I get everytime I come in! Only place I get my shoes for work stand on concrete all day. Easing my feet and knee pain, in turned eased my back/hip pain. Such a life changer for me. Good shoes are not cheap...but worth every penny to have my pain level decreased so much!! XOXO Customer for life!
The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and actually care about your foot health. I'm on my feet all day, every day at work, so I need some comfortable shoes. My feet are very happy now !!
I've always hated shopping for shoes, Katie at Rice's changed that today. Easiest experience I've ever had at a shoe store, and she made sure I got the right size, and even added arch supports. I don't think I'll ever buy shoes anywhere else, after this.
The best place to go for your shoes. The staff was the most friendly and knew exactly what I needed. I will recommend Rice's shoe store to everyone. Your feet make you your money and the best shoes are at Rices!
