Dr. Patelski was born in Oklahoma while his father was in the Army, but he grew up in Chicago. Dr. Patelski received both his undergraduate and dental degrees from Loyola University in Chicago.
Since graduating from dental school Dr. Patelski has continued his education through the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). By 1998 Dr. Patelski earned his Fellowship in the Academy. He continued on and earned his Mastership with the AGD in 2005. The AGD is an international organization of 35,000 general dentists. In order to earn the Fellowship Award a doctor must have completed more than 500 hours of continuing education courses within 10 years, as well as pass a rigorous fellowship examination. The Mastership requires an additional 600 hours of continuous education. Currently, Dr. Patelski is working on earning the Lifetime Learning Award, which is the highest level of the AGD. The Academy is not a requirement, but a commitment to continuing dental education and to giving patients the best possible care. In addition, Dr. Patelski is also a member of the American Equilibration Society, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, Impact Dental Study Club and the Advanced Dental Study Club.
In his spare time Dr. Patelski is an outdoorsman and enjoys construction projects. He also enjoys spending time with his granddaughter, Kasey, who was born in 2008.
Dr. Brandon Bice was born in LaGrange, IL and grew up in McCook, IL. He attended Lyons Township High School and then went on to play football at Northern Illinois University while receiving his undergrad degree in Biomedical Science and Chemistry. Dr. Bice was a three-year starter at Defensive End for the Huskies that made three Bowl Game appearances. Go Huskies!
Dr. Bice earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. He was trained there using state of the art technology, while following the most current research and practices. During his time he developed high standards of care, where patients' needs come first. Upon closure of his degree, Brandon was inducted into the school's chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Brandon Bice is also a newlywed, whose wife Maddie is a Registered Nurse. They have lived in Downers Grove for the past four years and are excited to make it their home for many years to come. Brandon enjoys being active and cheering on Chicago sports teams in his free time.
