Our brands are produced in historic Canajoharie, New York, 40 miles west of Albany. Richardson's 180,000 square foot facility is the manufacturing location of Richardson Pastel Mints, Butter Mints, Chocolate Gourmet Mints, Dryden & Palmer Rock Candy, Gravymaster Seasoning & Browning Sauce, Beechies Gum, and Bogdon Reception Sticks. Richardson Brands proudly carriers the State of New York's coveted Good Manufacturing Practices Seal of Approval (GMP), as well as a superior rating by AIB International and Silliker.
The village of Canajoharie, NY, which was incorporated in 1829, began as a thriving market town on the Erie Canal and has been a center of manufacturing and the arts for nearly two centuries. In the Iroquois language, Canajoharie means "the pot that washes itself", so-named because of a beautiful, geological, pot-shaped feature in Canajoharie Creek, which flows into the Mohawk River.
An integral part of Richardson's long-term vision is to continue to be a faithful and dependable employer in Canajoharie.
