We love this place. Of course, it’s old and has a strong 80s vibe, but the experience is hard to find anywhere else around here! Concessions are reasonably priced. Management was friendly and helped keep an eye on swimmer safety, as well as the life guards on duty. When I called in advance to ask about water quality, I was reassured that this natural spring sourced lake is partially drained and refilled each year, and DHEC regulated, with water quality tested every 2 weeks.
We love Richardson's Lake! I'm 32 and have been going here as long as I can remember during the summertime! My four year old loves it! I do recommend keeping a good eye on your children. Anything can happen once you lose eyes on them. They do have lifeguards, but it is our responsibility to pay attention to our children. I love the food! I have never had a bad time! The atmosphere is great! It can get packed at times. They have picnic areas outside of the lake for birthday parties and grills.
My family and I enjoy every visit we make to this local spot. This was our 4th time out Id would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. This is a seriously fun and calming for the parents place to bring your family. The kids are safe, I can see them no matter where I am. The lifeguards are also watching. They are helpful, supportive for example if a kid gets scared , friendly and they blow the whistle if they need to. There are multiple lifeguards on site. Wherever you choose to sit , you'll be able to see almost all of the park. Which means you can actually relax while your family plays. The snack bar is fairly priced My kids enjoy having the freedom to go get their own snacks. There's a jukebox, pool tables, changing rooms, and other games in the same area. The snack bar and the pool table area are open aired which is a favorite of mine. Lunch is taken care of while you're there because of the snack bar. They serve pizza, hotdogs, and nachos but also snacks like chips, candy, pickles, slushies and other snacking treats. Its a win-win, the kids can buy it themselves, and they gain independence Our family looks forward to returning year after year. A Thank You to all of you who helps bring us this gem to life every season We always enjoy this fun, family-friendly place. 5 stars without a doubt
This was the first time visiting. Loved it!! Awesome swimming! Very reasonable prices. Love that they provide free water noodles. Can rent chairs and floats at reasonable prices. Had lunch there. Good food. Reasonable prices.

This is a locally owned establishment that is a great inexpensive option for a day out with the family. There are lifeguards on duty, a nicely stocked snack bar located in a covered pavilion along with pool tables, a jukebox, and other fun games. There's a fun slide, 2 diving boards, and a few docks that are in deeper water. Adults 13 + are $9 12-2years are $7 2 & under are free We enjoy this spot quite a few times during the summer and we would recommend this as a great option for any family fun day.
My friend had her son’s graduation party there a few years ago. Ever since then that’s where you’ll find me and my kids during the summer. We live in Jedburg SC and happily drive the 2 hours ! It’s so worth it! Matter of fact taking the kids there today. HeartVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
Very nice park. Love it that they allow kids to be kids... run around on the sand and have fun. The park claims to be "family" focused and forbid any alcohol. I totally agree! How about making it tobacco smoke free also? It is quite irritating sitting next to smokers and having the smoke in my face!Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
The kids had a blast here. It was pretty busy but still had enough beach space and there were no crazy long waits for the slides/diving boards. They had at least 2 swimming guards on duty who were very good making sure everyone followed the rules and were safe. It was cool you could rent a huge selection of floaties for only $3. They also had a full concession, the changing rooms/bathroom were clean, and they had pool tables. The water was just as dirty as all the lakes in the area and I was a bit concerned about the age of the some of the play structures. They seemed to be nearing the end of their days.
Slides, and driving boards. U can buy food and drinks and rent goggles, life jakets, boards etc. Water was perfect
