Yesterday afternoon on the last transit bus back to Shelby at 4:30pm from the transfer station in Mansfield , after leaving the station @ promptly 4:30pm per their usual , shortly into the ride back I realized that I had forgotten my glasses I had taken off and forgot to put them back on..let’s call it a blonde moment.. while waiting for the bus on the inside of the transfer station..quick side note : kudos to whomever cleans the transfer station .. “cleanest bus station ever bar none”..great job !! Now back to the story..upon realizing I had forgotten my very expensive pair of Oakley’s prescription glasses and case back @ the station , I said something to the bus driver Tonya about having accidentally left my glasses back @ the station not really thinking she would be able to do much about it and just like that she checked with the other riders if was ok to go back and get my glasses , the other riders all agreed it was ok and she circled all the way back around to the station , deviating from her route and time going back to Shelby , she pulled up alongside the station opened the door up and I quickly got out and ran back inside the station where another rider had already found my glasses and turned them into one the RCT workers that was there and he gave me my glasses back , I thanked the worker and the rider that found my glasses and turned them in with fist bumps and quickly ran back out and hopped back on the bus and away we went on to Shelby running a little bit behind though ..because of Tonya going above and beyond the call of duty or what is expected in a case like that !! I’d like to thank Tonya for going above and beyond and the other passengers whom graciously gave her the ok to do so , for they could have easily said no !! RCT is very accommodating Sincerely , Ken p.
It would really help to have weekend and evening service so I can participate at church and community events. Most of the drivers are nice except for a couple. The bus drivers try their best to keep the buses on time but whenever someone is covering for the regular driver, they get ahead of schedule. Today the bus was 8 minutes early and of course I wasn't at the bus stop at the time and missed my bus. I had left my house on time. The substitute or break relief drivers need to watch their time better.
I, myself, am always here to give the best directions I possibly can.
I can't find where all RCT travels, can't find a bus schedule.
Buses usually run on time and inexpensive travel Edit: The first review was from 4 years ago. Since then the bus drivers have changed and so too has the review. Nowadays it is not uncommon to wait for a bus 10 minutes past the specified time. A couple of the bus drivers have really bad attitudes and will give you aggressive and passive aggressive comments when you say something they don't like. Also all the bus drivers have different opinions on how things should be done, such as whether or not you should wave them down and since you can't see who's driving until they're close, you run the risk of upsetting certain drivers.
Those who reside on, or near the locations of Middle Bellville and Straub Roads will eventually experience the complete lack of empathy in accommodating you with transportation during any road closures. I personally experienced complete refusal and find their lacking of empathy unacceptable!
The buses are good, but when they get to the station, some of the drivers don't pull up close to the sidewalk by the station. I use crutches to walk, and I don't want to fall down.

I really like your boss and your bus drivers you have some wonderful bus drivers the guys are really great I'm wondering what kind of schedule you guys were operating on due to this virus going around is it a regular schedule
Driver was not to friendly at all and really was not helpful. He is face of the transit and should present himself as such.
