Freemasonry teaches time tested principles that apply to building everything from friendships, to communities, private aid to Charities, or simply good fun! Joining a Masonic Lodge enables you to bond with like-minded men who share ideals of both a moral and metaphysical nature, enjoy the friendship of other Masons in the community, and be welcomed as a “brother” by Masons everywhere in the world.
In 1945 members of a Masonic Club were granted dispensation to form a Lodge, a charter granted in 1946 designated it as Richland Lodge No. 283, and on September 4th 1950 the first stated meeting was held at our current location at 412 Thayer Drive in Richland.
The Masonic Family includes Masons as well as organizations for their ladies, couples, and youth. Masonry supports charitable activities such as hospitals, youth scholarship, and the less fortunate.
Masons are looking for men who wish to become better men, who are interested in giving back to their community and in self-improvement.
