Rick's Bait Shack

I’d really like to try this place out but they need to be open first. I’ve been over here three times during hours they are supposed to be open and it’s always closed. Looks like there is inventory here but the phone number is also a dead end.

Believe the reviews that say this shop is not open during the business hours posted online. The place was not open on 7/31 at 2:00 in the afternoon. If I had read the reviews earlier, I could have saved my family the 38-minute drive to the shop. Lesson learned. Will not go back.

I've been here multiple time while ice fishing and he's a great guy who is very knowledgeable and helpful. The one thing you need to know is that this seems to be more of a hobby store for him. Now this isn't a bad thing but this means he does it for fun and he runs it however he's feeling thay day. This means that he may be closed when you expect it to be open, but as long as you realize how he runs this then you'll have a great experience and will definitely come back again!

After calling and reading the posts I'd say the guy definitely isn't a reliable business owner and obviously isn't too concerned about his customers needs. Perhaps he cares and it's just that everything else comes first. Been calling and calling trying to get some info but no answer during peak season and during business hours. If you don't want to work, hire a kid to run the show like the rest of them do.

After to going to other bait shops...Ricks is the best. Super nice guy and always great for conversation. Huge chubbs and great price! Always supporting fishing with the young kids and adults. Stand up guy and shop.

Like everyone else I called and got no answer, can't drive over there without confirmation, I could work in the shop if you need someone to.

Great place to get bait and info, hours are sketchy, sometimes they are open sometimes not. During busy season always find them open. Great friendly service.

Update your hours. Drove all the way here and your closed at 11am on a friday?! Terrible. I guess I'll go to the gas station next door and give them my money.

Cool bait shop. Rick casually runs the shop, sometimes you have to knock really loud so he can hear you to open the place up.
