Ricky is friendly and accommodating, and the fried plantains are PERFECT. That's all I got today, but I'm going back next Saturday.

Absolutely delicious food and huge portions at this food truck! Only downside is the prices recently doubled but the sign has no prices, so you don't find out until it's time to pay. The pork fries went from $10 to $20+, which comes to almost $30 after tax/tip.  Sadly, it's too rich for me these days, especially for my lunch break at work, so I probably won't be getting this again.

Nicest guy ever! I got the jerk chicken quesadilla and it was thick with the perfect amount of grill and flavor taste. I will definitely be trying to find him again.

If you want some incredible smoked jerk chicken, than you want Ricky's Island Cafe. His jerk sauce is sweet and spicy and the seasonings meld well with the dry rub. Smoked perfectly. The plantains are wonderful. Cucumber mango salad was a delight when mixed with the pumpkin rice. Highly rated and would definitely recommend.

NO CAP BEST FOOD!!!! This was the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. The people are so friendly, the food is delicious, and it’s like nothing I’ve ever had before. If you haven’t had their food yet I highly recommend you check it out…immediately

I've been wanting to try this food truck for awhile now, and saw they were located in the Big R parking lot for the food truck fest in Fountain today. It did NOT disappoint! My husband and I wanted to try a couple different trucks so we only got the jerk chicken tacos; but after trying it... I honestly regretted not just getting our entire meal from here. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The chicken itself was perfect, the mango/cucumber on top was to die for. Even the tortillas were perfectly cooked! I'm not a big fan of pumpkin anything but we at all of the pumpkin rice as well. My husband and I were damn near fist fighting over the plate in the parking lot  Not only that but the owner's were just the NICEST people. I saw him give an older gentleman a free water, just because he could tell he needed it in the 100 degree heat. Without a doubt, we will be coming back any and every time we have the chance. Thank you guys!!!

My husband had the steak tacos and loved it... I had the lobster tacos. They were Ah-May-zing!! The lobster melts like butter. The seasoning wasn't too much. Absolutely perfect!! The owner is so nice and makes fantastic guacamole . I could eat this every day!!!

Best Jamaican Food I’ve eaten since living here in Colorado

I just ate Ricky's shrimp tacos at the St. Arnold festival and they were delicious.  LOTS of spicy shrimps with a sweet/tangy salsa for counterpoint. Pumpkin rice on the side and scoops of guacamole and sour cream.  Very nice people. Money well spent.

Met this very friendly guy at Fossil Brewing looking for something delicious. After listening to what I was looking for, he recommended the jerk chicken on Mac and cheese. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, the jerk sauce was great, basically the meal was so good!! Next time I see his truck, I’ll be visiting again.
