The flowers I ordered were very well put together and quite pretty. My wife was very happy with the surprise and was impressed with the professionalism of the person who delivered the flowers as well. My only complaint is when I called to ensure that the online order had gone through and had both been created and would be delivered the clerk that answered the phone was unable to verify as all of the orders had already been loaded at that time. However, the flowers were ready & delivered and well worth it. The bouquet ended up lasting my wife approx two weeks with care and maintenance. Would definitely use Rider Florist again in the future for any flower needs.
10/10 Recommend!! They were so nice and helpful. They did an amazing job on my corsage and boutonnière, and it was finished in 1 day. They also have the cutest cats which definitely was a plus. Will be coming back!
Ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day. I paid for designers choice and trusted that the bouquet would turn out beautiful. I ordered on Thursday and since I knew it was a busy time, I did not even request delivery. I stated that a family member would pick up on Friday. Flowers were NOT ready until after 3:30 pm on Friday so we were not able to get them to my moms job in time. An attempt was made twice to pick up and they were not ready. I wish they would have let me know if they were too booked to fulfill the order in a timely manner. The bouquet, while satisfactory at best, kind of looked like an arrangement of all the flowers left over after they were finished with all the other orders for the day. Very disappointed.
Stopped in for just a few sunflowers for my GF. Everyone was really nice and helpful. They hooked me up with this nice bouquet. Would recommend!

I ordered a birthday bouquet for my mom who is currently taking chemotherapy. I ordered a few days before her birthday online. They have delivered to my mom before and my mom has done business with them for years. She was in charge of ordering all the church flowers for services and sick members, they did my sister's wedding and my father's funeral. When I realized after getting a confirmation email and my credit card being charged that she had received no flowers, I called Rider. She said we don't have your order and I gave her my order number and was told she would call me back. A few minutes later she says that my mom is not in the delivery area and I should have received an email, which I did not. She didn't say I'm sorry or anything. I called the online company to make sure they were refunding my $85.45 and they told me that Rider florist had refused the order this morning at 8:40a.m. It would have been nice to know that. I used to tell everyone how great they were. Well, thanks for nothing. I can't see my mom because of COVID-19 and chemo I work in the medical field so this was my way of cheering her up and wishing her a Happy Birthday. Completely ruined it and didn't care, that's what is so disappointing.
On April 22nd, I ordered a flower arrangement online to be delivered to my mother for her birthday on May 10th yesterday. Yesterday came and went with no delivery from Rider. I called the florist 5 times with no answer and left 2 messages between the hours of 2:40 pm and 5:20 pm. I live an hour and and a half away so I wasn’t able to swing by to see what was going on with the delivery. I understand that they were likely still busy from Mother’s Day but to not answer the phone or return messages or communicate in any way regarding the status of the order and then for the arrangement to just not be delivered is unacceptable. UPDATE: Called the florist back and someone actually answered the phone. I was told that they were closed yesterday but they were working on my delivery to go out today...like that should have been an acceptable response. When I questioned why the delivery did not go out yesterday, I was told that they were closed. I pointed out that the voicemail message indicated that they should have been opened and the online ordering system allowed me to select 5/10 as a delivery date. She then stated that the owners mother was very, very, very sick yesterday and that is why they were closed. Of course, I am sorry that the owners mother was very sick - however, that doesn't excuse the fact that they had customers depending on them yesterday and couldn't be bothered to follow up with those customers either yesterday or today to let them know what was going on...instead of customers having to hunt them down. The only remedy to the situation that was offered was them cancelling my order, which I did and then explained the poor level of customer service that was being displayed by them by not showing more concern regarding why this situation is unacceptable, being they missed the delivery date, didn't communicate about the situation at all, and then planned to just deliver the arrangement today like nothing happened? At that point, I finally received a "we are sorry." Overall, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism regarding this situation.
I called them to make an arrangement for my grandmother's service. The nice lady on the phone assured me the flowers would arrive one time and be beautiful. I have to say, any concern I had was put to rest once I saw them. They were so beautiful! I truly can say enough about the quality of the flowers. I saved 2 to take home and they lasted almost 2 weeks. Thanks again!
Very disappointed! We were on our way to Raleigh and we needed to get some flowers - a small arraignment for the person we're visiting. My son found this place online and even though it was a few miles out of the way, we thought it was worth a shot. When we got there, I went inside and the owner didn't even acknowledge me. She spent all the time in the world just talking with another customer about the church and her husband. I was in a rush. The least the owner could have done was to acknowledge me. Additionally, her prices were very high for what she offered. I will not be making that detour again.
Purchased a beautiful plant for a funeral service. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
