Ridgefield High School is a four-year public high school located in Ridgefield, Connecticut. It was ranked 119th in Newsweek's 2015 list of the top 1,600 high schools in America and 226th in U.S. News & World Report's 2012 list of the top 4,813 high schools. The school mascot is the tiger.Ridgefield High facilities include a two-story-high, glass-enclosed student center and all marble Student Life Office. The school has a football stadium with turf field.StudentsThe school has 1,784 students enrolled of which 51% is male and 49% is female. Total minority enrollment is 11%. The graduation rate is 98% in four years.Academic achievement341 students took 754 advanced placement exams in May 2006, with 92.2 percent of exams with scores of 3 or higher. In the eight years up through the 2005-2006 school year, the number of students taking AP exams has tripled.The school's dropout rate has remained consistent over the years at 1 percent.
