Ridgewood Kennels II Shrewsbury

The process from start to finish was so easy!!! The place was extremely cleaned and all the puppies appeared happy and healthy! We got a little red cockapoo and she has been such a joy! She was eating as soon as she got home and was very clean and smelled good when we got her!! We highly recommend them for finding your forever pup!!!

Update: we've had our dog for 5 years now. Plus: he's smart, easy to train and we have no major health issues! This is why you should come here if nothing else. Vet bills matter. Occasionally he has a weak stomach when he gets in the trash but thats with bichons and it doesn't require vet visits. He was bred well!! Small con: I wanted a small dog. They told us he would get to be no more than 17 lbs. He's 34. Doubled. And he's not overweight. He's taller than expected. Maybe the breed was a miniature poodle and not the toy poodle? Updated pic below. We love him so much though. We came here from Baltimore because they received good reviews. Emily, the young lady who helped us, was very friendly and resourceful. If you're looking for smaller dogs or hypoallergenic dogs this is a good place. It was hard for us to make a decision as all the dogs were cute. Once we bought the dog we had to come back to pick him up after a few days but we checked the website and he was no longer available so they do a good job keeping the site updated. We left with our puppy's shot records and the break down of the life time warranty. Update: we've had the dog for almost a week and he's done well so far and is a really good dog! We took him to a vet and they said he's completely healthy. Update: we've had him for 3 months now and still healthy and literally the happiest dog. However, he's getting a little bigger than I wanted. He's at 15 lbs and the kennel said this is the biggest he'll get. Hes 5 months old now so we'll see, I'm not sure he's done growing. We love him though.

We got our cockapoo Crouton here last April, we had a great experience. Upon taking him to the vet he did have an ear infection, I let the owner know and she reimbursed me for that vet bill all within a timely manner. Staff was very friendly and our little baby is now a year old and thriving! No health issues and gets along with the rest of the fur babies I would recommend this place for sure!!

Look...no one likes to see dogs in cages. I dont understand those reviews. Other than buying from a private seller in their home, where are puppies kept? Heck all of your groomers have cages too!?!?! Anyway, if you dont like to see them in cages, buy one! Our dog, Tank on the right in the photo, a Lhasapoo, that we purchased in 2013 from this store is a wonderful, happy, healthy, member of our family. We stop in from time to time to look. We have two...not sure about adding another but we would definitely buy from here again!

I purchased my female Cockapoo Bailey aka Mayflower in December, 2020 and couldn't be more pleased with her and the experience of dealing w Ridgewood Kennels. Holly always answered my emails/calls promptly and was very helpful and understanding when I decided on a different dog than the one I originally picked.As for Bailey, the vet said she was the cutest puppy and quite "gregarious" as well as being healthy. Bailey is the star of the neighborhood with people stopping to say how cute and happy she is.

AA Ridgewood is an amazing business. They go above and beyond for their customers. Puppies are taken care of so well. Facilities are beautiful. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into this place. I’ve never meant more trustworthy people that had all the answers to my questions. People this is the place to get your new best friend.

We picked up a Morkie named Adele, October 5, 2019. She is a beautiful girl, active and healthy according to her first Vet visit!! She is a great addition to our family of pets and gives them a run for their money!!! Lol!! She was a hit at her first Puppy kindergarten class... I was pleased with the knowledge of the kennels staff and would recommend them for anyone looking for a puppy. Thanks for everything!!

We purchased our new baby girl, and she is something else, plays great with our other dog. She is so special, we just love her. The people at the kennel in Shrewsbury were wonderful and so helpful. If purchase again it will be from them.I know the dog's are in cages but all were clean.

I bought a puppy from their other location a couple of years ago and now have one from Shrewsbury! Both are super healthy and the people who work there are so friendly. They make me feel like family when I walk in to buy dog food and were so excited to see two of their puppies ending up in the same home together! I will never go anywhere else for any future dogs!

I purchased my 5 month old yorkie Mi'zani she is so adorable and loving. When I took her for her vet check she had no problems and was given a good bill of health!! Emily was so nice and friendly. She made this experience wonderful. The staff at both facilities was excellent. I strongly recommend if your looking to purchase an animal, Ridgewood kennel is definitely the place for you
