Riley's Bakery, Cornwall Ontario

This place has been the heart of Cornwall for decades the best sandwiches and treats you will eat ever for the price. Not to much your stomach will never leave empty with the portion sizes you receive. Especially in today's economy. This sandwich was only $7 taxes in.

We arrived just after 3 pm and we could only order an egg salad sandwich. At first I was disappointed until the very pleasant young lady explained that the meat slicer had to be cleaned at 3. I totally understand, the bakery closes at 3:30 so they must have time to totally clean the slicer. Before closing. All was not lost they had some charcuterie type individual serving plates available, we bought 2 as well as 2 containers with deviled eggs. Very good. Also pick up a pair of bakery treats for desert . I highly recommend this bakery the food was delicious . Get there before 3 if you want a meat sandwich but if you don’t. Make it there are certainly delicious alternatives to a sandwich available. Professional, courteous and friendly. Thank you

Also, Beware with the old reviews because it’s new owners, just check the most recent reviews. My husband just picked up my birthday cake and I’m very disappointed. This is not a Riley Bakery cake. I knew it was new owners, but I was hoping that the cakes would have been the same recipe. The price is over and beyond for $45.00 not even one decoration like flowers or not even written Happy Birthday. We used to buy our cakes there. We will never order there again.

First time back since new ownership. Service was very friendly and quick. The problem was it just didn't taste very good anymore. I don't know if it's new suppliers or different meats tuna etc.. but it wasn't very good. The donuts did taste the same as before but they were half the size. They do have debit now which is better.

The best spot for soup and fresh sandwiches. I have never had anything I didn't like from here and I'm picky eater . The staff and owner are amazing people . The soups are straight comfort food, brings you back to grandma's house . If I could rate them higher I would .

Locally owned and operated for many years in Cornwall, this pace has amazing sandwiches at an equally amazing price. A landmarks for Cornwall and a must have anyone. Great baking as well!
