RIMS Driving School offers Classroom Instruction on Driver Education.
We teach the 5 Hour Pre License Class weekly at the Courtyard by Marriott in Kingston, the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall in Wappingers Falls and the Galleria Crystal Run in Middletown.
This is a Mandatory class for NY State permit holders who wish to obtain a driver's license. Our classroom offers comfortable seating in a relaxed environment. . We pride ourselves in having the most up to date classes in the Hudson Valley and surrounding counties,
We also offer a 6 Hour Defensive Driving Course. This class is available to anyone who hold a NY State Driver License or learners permit .By taking this course you can save up to 10 percent on your car insurance and/or reduce up to 4 points off your driving record.

Walk Ins are Welcome but registering online will guarantee an available seat during the busier months. You will even save $5.00 by online registration. Payment will not be done until the day of class.
Our mission is to make the roads safer by giving the most updated and informative class in the Hudson Valley. Not all 5 hour Classes are the same. Some driving schools in the area are still showing videos on VHS tape (yes they still exist).
