**THIS PAGE IS NOT MONITORED 24/7. PLEASE CALL 911 FOR ALL EMERGENCIES.**
The mission of the Rindge Fire Department is to protect the lives, property and environment of the Town of Rindge and surrounding communities when called upon.
We are a paid on-call fire department that is led by Fire Chief Rick Donovan. The station is staffed during the buisness hours of 8:00AM-6:00PM Monday through Friday. During night and weekend hours, members respond from home.
We operate out of two fire stations to provide fire protection as well as non-transport Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Rindge. Our fleet of apparatus includes two Class "A" Engines used for primary fire suppression, one Tanker that carries 2100 gallons of water, one Rescue truck used for EMS response as well as vehicle extrication and technical rescue operations, one Brush truck used for battling brush fires and small outside fires and one Hose truck that carries 3200' of large diameter hose (LDH) for the purpose of moving large amounts of water from a fire hydrant, pond or stream, to the scene of a fire. In addition, we utilize two Command vehicles, a boat, an ATV and various emergency response trailers that hold equipment such as traffic control devices, Haz-Mat equipment and ice/water resuce equipment.
