Ring - Baked Tofu Donuts

About

RING Baked Tofu Donuts was established in 2013 in Hollywood. Our philosophy is that we will offer Japanese-style fun to American people.

Description

Everyone loves donuts. They’re sweet, yummy, and the perfect food to eat on the go. We decided it was time to bring a bit of our cultural roots to this treat, which led us to creating our recipe for Japanese-style tofu donuts. Each one is made by our skilled pastry chef who selects high-quality ingredients from around the world. These treats are the perfect blend between a healthy dish and indulgent dessert, giving you the best of both worlds. And you can pick from a variety of classic and rotating flavors, like chocolate chip, matcha, and red velvet. While you’re here, make sure to try our famous sea salt cream iced coffee -- people have been known to say it’s their “everything.”

Good! Tofu vegan donuts sounds like an oxymoron but they make it work. It's definitely a different taste but not one leaving you feel too heavy nor overly sweet.
the donut is NOT TOO SWEET, soft and bouncy, flavorful. They use silken soy puree to make so it's good to eat even for the lactose intolerant people
These baked tofu donuts were really interesting - they almost reminded me of French Madeline's. There is a great selection of flavors to choose from, including seasonal ones. The matcha donut was a little bitter. The cheesecake had a very subtle taste of cheesecake. The pumpkin had a great pumpkin spice flavor. The chocolate chip was simple and probably my favorite of the four. I would try them again!
AMAZING!! I came for the first time and was IMPRESSED with the tofu donuts! They were super tasty and honestly addicting! The store is cutely decorated and the woman and man who were there were very kind, patient, and helpful! Highly recommend if you are looking for a healthier, but still yummy, donut!
I love this place!!! Never crowded easy parking right in front on the street. The donuts are freakin' delish!!! And my sister is vegan so I always get her the vegan options they provide and she loves them!!! The sea salt matcha is insanely good!!! I'm so glad I'm local enough to come here all the time!!!
Ring has fantastic donuts, especially if you aren’t just looking for a sugar bomb. We tried the matcha, double chocolate and chocolate chip—you can’t go wrong. Can’t wait to work my way thru the menu!
Just awesome. The place is soo cozy and loved pokemon theme. You get to see lots of Pikachoos. I just loved the place. Coming to taste, OMG, I am speechless. They are gluten free, nut free, soooo soft and tasty. Got 6 different flavors and each one is outstanding. Its not tooo sweet like usual one, which is what makes it double awesome. Totally in love. I will get it again.
Ring donuts Charcoal Is spungy and moist. Has very little flavor but a slight sweetness. Brown sugar Not as spongy but a fuller flavor. Kinda like the difference between white bread and wheat? Red velvet Very cake like but moister. The red velvet taste was there but not very strong. Honey This is cornbread but not the right texture Pumpkin spice Is exactly what you think of pumpkin spice Double chocolate Is a chocolate cake in donut form Only downsides are the price and waiting time.
I LOVE donuts and it’s been a hell to find a healthy and tasty donuts since I developed gluten intolerance. I tried Red Velvet oh, aroma of chocolate!, double chocolate not too sweet and Honey reminded me of Japanese sweet Kastella a lot I don’t like Tofu, but I loved them all. It is not dry or overly chewy like other Gluten Free donuts, cookies or cakes. Also they are baked. So you don’t get a heartburn. If you are coming here at night, it may be hard to find since it’s in the office complex. But just look for the address. And park in the back parking lot just North of the building and enter from rear. I am going to check this place periodically to get some “special flavors”
I had business in the building so I decided to stop in and try a tofu donut. The shop is cozy and small with a few tables, nestled in the lobby of an office building. The service is great; I had a lot of questions for the employee about the drinks and what was the best one to try. He recommended the classic honey flavor donut and warmed it up for me. It was definitely different than a regular donut in consistency, but still really delicious. The donuts are more dense and spongier than a normal donut. I also had a calpico which has a slightly sweet flavor. There's free two hour parking in the lot next to the building. If I find myself in Canoga Park again I'll make sure to stop back in!
