Beautiful place and hidden gem to wander around and get lost in thought. Doesn't matter what trail you follow because there are plenty of intersections and loops. Enjoyed the rolling fog, rock features, and scenic views of the bay and surrounding small towns.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Finding places to park might be tricky, but it wasn't a problem for us. It's an easy trail and good with dogs in any season for bay area weather. On the top, we followed a rocky trail leading us to a wonderful view of San Francisco - perfect spot for a picnic or snacks. Checking your dogs afterwards, I found a tick on one of my dogs.
Super convenient and accessible to hikers of all abilities. I highly recommend this for families or people wanting to see beauty without crowds or a lot of fuss.
The views of the bay are great. You can see Mt. Tam, Marin county, and SF. However the top is quite windy.
Driving by I was just planning to walk around the bay but saw a large number of cars at this trailhead so decided to give it a shot. Pretty decent loop trail, just under one mile to the top with about 450 feet of elevation gain. The real showstopper is when you reach the top and are treated with panoramic views of the bay, with the bay bridge, golden gate bridge tips, suttro tower, and downtown SF skyline.
Amazing views from above Tiburon on the ridge. Very well maintained trails, and good trail signage. Saw soaring hawks, 2 gopher snakes, and some poison oak, but not as much as I expected. Great trails for beginners and the experienced hikers, and leashed dogs are welcome.
Amazing hiking with panoramic views of Marin, Richmond, East Bay and SF. Would highly recommend this hike to everyone!
Incredible views of the city, Richmond bridge, Tiburon, and Mount Tam. : Poppies, dandelions, hogweeds, lupines, cream cups, foxglove, daisies, among many others. Lots of trails, big bang for your buck.
Beautiful easy hike with rewarding views. Lots of trail options. Some options for bouldering.
Great hike...took our 4 and 6 year olds who are avid hikers with Mom and Dad and did great. Whole loop took about 2 hours with stops for pictures and snack. Great view of bay area from the top.
