If i could give ZERO STARS i would. We moved here a year ago, since we have been here we have had issues with our mail being delivered to our address, it always gets sent to neighbors and sometimes I never get it. I have been to this post office 4/5 times to complain and filed a report online. Still have this issue. My husband owns a business we get checks delivered through the post office. Julie is our carrier and they only say, we have talked to her she just doesn't followe rules. Well then figure out someone else to deliver in her place. Julie you need to do better. Our house number is on our mailbox clear as day. No reason to always mix up our mail for a year straight. I shouldn't have to pay for a P.O box becuase you all can't figure out how to make this right.
I had a missing package and this office does a great job doing their best to help you out. Starting from the supervisor that will keep you inform on what they are doing to locate your package. They do pick up their phone which I know a lot of post office don’t even do, just don’t expect to be immediately as they are really helping other customers. The package got lost from Nashville not from their office because I know for sure that the lady that deliver mail on my location does an amazing job making sure you get your mail, she stop and always double check the address on the mail and the address on your mail box. I have never got anyone else mail or any missing mail. Once my mail is at their location I know that it will be delivered at the right address.
If I could place zero stars I would. Count staff is friendly but I placed a hold for my mail. I checked the box to pick my mail up at the counter. Carrier I guess can’t follow instructions cause they delivered mail to the address that I’m in the process of leaving. New renters took mail back to the post office. I’m out of my mail that the post office was supposed to have at the counter had the carrier just read and followed instructions.
It's really disheartening to work for 5 years for two, 31,000 dollar pieces of paper, only to have them bent and warped because the person delivering my mail couldn't be bothered to read the "do not bend" label that was written in bold lettering. I hadn't seen a tangible copy of either degree and I had been waiting, quite literally, years for the moment I got to see them and hold them in my hands. The person that delivered those degrees ruined a special moment that I'm never going to be able to get back. So thank you, USPS for doing a substandard job.
Lady decided she wasn’t going to walk up the stairs to deliver my package, she only had to walk 8 stairs to get to my door. I can’t go pick them up due to having a c section, I called today and I was told she couldn’t walk up the stairs but not to worry my package would get delivered later today by someone else, well that never happened still don’t have my packages. kinda why I ordered online because I can’t leave to go to the store.
They have one person working the front desk. He is absolutely wonderful but why doesn't he have help? I have been standing in line for over 45 minutes, there was only 3 people ahead of me. Why can't we afford more workers? The back was full of people but no one offered to help!
The woman behind the counter was the rude and lazy with 0 customer service skills. This post office isn’t bad because they’re understaffed. They’re bad because the people they do staff are terrible. I came through a 30 minute line with an infant who didn’t start crying till it was out turn, and this woman yelled at me and the woman behind me, probably what made my infant cry even more, and then she made me fill out extra paperwork but did not provide a writing implement, when it was clearly obvious I had a limited time frame to deal with. Management take note. She also knew I was Likely to accept the next day delivery because I just Wanted to get out of there and ended up charging me $50.
This has got to be the worse post office in all of Clarksville. Doesn’t matter what time of year it is, the lines are outrageously long. I realize that in December they are going to be long, but why in the world is there only one counter open? And to have the manager of the post office come out and apologize for the lines because they had call ins or are short-handed is understandable, but why in the world would he not get on a counter himself! I guess he just doesn’t care about customer service. No wonder they got rid of the happy/angry service button as you leave. Also, the mail service is horrible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten someone else’s mail. Makes me wonder whose box my mail ended up in. No wonder the USPS is losing business! If I could have used UPS or Fed Ex for this particular transaction, I would have gladly paid the extra money just to avoid going into this post office! I could go on and on, but the bottom line is…..AVOID THIS POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS, unless your time is not valuable to you, then be prepared to spend your whole morning/evening there!
I am getting very disappointed with the Clarksville Post offices because they lose your mail or deliver it to someone else. I should have a package that was to be delivered on Dec. 23, 2022. Now it is Dec 28 and no package yet and can’t get the post office to answer their phones either. They raise their prices and the service is getting worst. Any rural delivery does not get delivered in regular timely manner, it is when ever they want to delivery. I have informed delivery so I know what is in my mail and I don’t get the mail.
Some are very nice, but it is very short staffed and the one person in front is incredibly slow. Literally like slow-motion in every movement and complaining out loud about how the day isn't going well.
