It was really fun but at some points the ball was going low
Got there at 10am when their website said they opened. Found out that the summer hours are from 5pm. The owner was there and still let my 7 year olds son and I use a cage. He was super nice. Will be going back often.
Great place to take the family or hang out with friends. Incredible customer service as well. They close at 9pm on Saturdays, and stop selling tokens at 845pm. We arrived at 850... most places would have turned us away, telling us to read the sign. The gentleman last night was accommodating and helped us get a few swings in before closing. It's rare to find that level of customer service today. Thank you again, we'll be back again! Great value too!!!
The owner is so amazing and kind! Always a pleasant experience. Thank you
Nice and very affordable outdoor batting cages. My husband and I visited on a date and liked this place. I would definitely come back and bring my boys because the prices are very affordable. Some places require memberships in order to make them worth it, and this one is not that way. It's also located next to a nice park. Definitely recommend.
Called to verify Sunday hours today. Gentleman who answered the phone said they closed at 9:30pm. We showed up at 8:15pm and it was closed. No sign. No lights. Nothing. A few other would-be customers also there wondering why the place was already closed.
Rip City Batting Cages came under new management 8 months ago and the new owner is a great person. Luis loves baseball and making a difference in the lives of young players and the community. We have been coming for several months as a family to bat in the cages. It is a time we look forward to every weekend. My son recently started one on one coaching lessons with Luis for pitching and hitting. Luis is great with my son. Luis works him hard within reason for the hour and my son’s skills are improving after two lessons. This is a great place for players wanting to improve their baseball or softball skills, families, date night, and moms that just need to swing a baseball for stress relief. LOL
It's okay. Not much to it. Super cheap though.
This place was one of the worst batting cages I have gone to. There were issues with the systems, the owner or manager, whatever he was was there teaching looks like he might be a coach or making money on the side. But was barely was in the office. Bought a side and I was completely flat and tasted weird, even had my wife try it and she agreed. I went back to him since we couldn't find the expiration date on the bottle. He seemed annoyed and proceeded to tell me he just stocked them. So I decided to trade it out for a can soda he did not refund the difference, but whatever. I should of checked it there in front of him before excepting the trade, because after opening, it also tasted bad. This one did have a date on it and it was expired for over 6 months. Did want to waste my time, so I cut my losses. DONT BUY ANYTHING from concessions, pretty sure he buys expired items and sells them. Up to you. I will definitely not ever going back to this place and even going to tell my friends not to go there.
We stumbled upon Freestone park one night and we're delighted to see the batting cages. The owner was there that night and is super cool. We've been back a few times already. Tons of Fun!!!
