Description

Ripka's Beach Cafe' - grill is a seaside restaurant in one of the more beautiful beaches in Connecticut. What used to be a beach "convenience" is now a destination
Activities abound for all including available volley ball softball, skate boarding and a fabulous fishing pier that is great to just take a long walk.
Ripka's is open year round and the beach area is a great venue for many events including triathalons and charity walks.
Ripka's produces great seafood and typical fare but also caters to the many companies and individuals with catering year round.
Clients from GE to Norwalk Hospital and many other companies use Ripka's for many of their catering needs from 5 people to 200 people and beyond.
The gem by the water is about the view and the food and the community and we would love to see everyone get out, get some fresh air and visit us along the way

Delicious lobster dinner on a Friday night. Plenty of meat!!! Very fresh, made to order. Potatoes were seasoned and very tasty! Corn bread and corn on the cob.. both good to! Live music too!Food: 5/5
The fries are outstanding, the ice cream tastes old and I’m not sure the food was thoroughly cooked. A nice atmosphere to say nonetheless, could use better customer service, but a nice establishment overall! Update: the clams and the chicken tenders appeared to be undercooked. And the ice cream machine was on August 31st!

We love Ripka’s! Their food is delicious and fresh. Not your janky beach food place like most places you would find. Absolutely love their Caesar salad, pizza and lobster rolls! Lots of live music and events throughout the year. Drinks are yummy too! I will note it does get busy during peak times but worth the wait.Food: 5/5
Been coming here for a few years but decided to do a review today. Ripka's is a gem of a place right by Calf Pasture Beach. Where you would suspect a normal little snack hut to stand is actually quite an impressive location with a varied menu full of food and drink options. Their seafood has always been top notch but one of the best things on their menu has been their fries. Some of the best fries I've had anywhere, period. Today we picked up a batch with cheese and their truffle fries. Brilliant, crispy, with huge portions they can be a meal unto themselves. Definitely worth a visit to the beach! I'll look forward to my next visit!
The food at Ripkas was good but the locals here are the worst. Came to eat here and we were given 1.5 hours to park at the extremely expensive parking lot. We tried calling around a bit since we had so much time and were harassed by a local for walking to the beach and not staying at the restaurant. The parking lot was empty on a Monday at lunch time Seems a bit extreme wouldn't come here again. Parking: Parking is extremely expensive and even if you park at the restaurant on a Monday at lunch time when it's empty you are harassed by locals for no reason.
Truffle fries! By far one of my favorites. They make the best here!
We used Ripka's catering for our wedding at Sheffield Island. We booked this with them in January of 2020 and through all the uncertainty they stuck with us and put together an incredible event. Since we did not have dancing due to COVID, the food was the main focus after the bride, of course. Clyde put together passed appetizers plus a 5 course meal, with wine pairings and it was some of the best food we've had. Our guests were raving! The staff that day couldn't have been more accommodating and made sure we had everything we wanted. Would absolutely recommend for catering and can't wait to spend more evenings at the beach cafe.
We had a Reunion party at Ripka's and The atmosphere, food and service was off the charts great. I recommend Ripka's to anyone and everyone in Norwalk, Fairfield County, and out of towners visiting and looking for a great outdoor venue.Food: 5/5
We were visiting from out of the area and found this place on the internet. We wanted something that was local to the area. Ripka's fit the requirement. Glad we found it! The food was great! The warm lobster rolls, grilled oysters, tilapia tacos, and clam chowder were all fantastic. Highly recommend the grilled oysters. We were here during the off season so there was no wait. Had kids and babies in our party and the environment was suitable for children. When we are back in the area, this place will definitely be on our "must do/visit" list.
