I had 3 appointments for vaccines today for myself and my 2 children. I specifically made appointment at Rite Aid so that we could have the flu mist vaccine. We arrive and are told they are out of flu mist. Even with appointments we are made to wait 40 minutes. And even though we all have the same insurance they cannot process mine so only 2 out of 3 receive our vaccines. I refuse to wait any longer than we already have. Not once does the pharmacist apologize for any of these issues. Horrible customer service. This will be my first and last visit to this Rite Aid. This review only applies to the pharmacy. The employee at the ice cream counter was kind and courteous.
The Rite-Aid at Platt Village in West Hills is my favorite pharmacy by far. Pharmacists Lena and Lucy go above and beyond to help me in a kind, professional, competent, and caring manner. The rest of the staff is terrific too. I am a completely satisfied customer and loyal for life!
I would give no star if I could!! I just spoke to a new pharmacist there and her name is Kay or Kate !! First of all she’s very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional, the way she talked to me was like she’s talking down to me and I tried to explain to her that my prescription was supposed to be ready 3 days ago according to my doctor and because there was a problem and now 3 days is passed I wanted to know if it’s ready but it seemed like she was even angry that I called to see if it’s ready or not!!! Then she tells me it needs to be 30 days from last prescription date and last time my prescription was supposed to be ready on Jan 2nd so technically it is more than 30 days but obviously she doesn’t give a “””” and tells me it doesn’t matter and in one way she wants to say to me I’m not gonna help you and it’s your problem and there’s nothing you can do…. The other lady pharmacist that worked there before her for many years was such a nice and caring pharmacist and I don’t know where did she go but I want Rite Aid to know they lost my business and this is the last time I took my prescription there Rite Aid in West Hills CA. I’m going to go to a pharmacy that they care about their customers and they talk nicely to people, specially customers that have been going over 10 years. Shame on you and I feel bad for the rest of the customers that are gonna deal with this Kate or Kay person.
A pharmacist who is new at Rite Aid 6410 Platt Ave, West Hills CA would not refill my prescription that I have been getting FOR YEARS AT THE SAME LOCATION AND THE SAME DOCTOR INCLUDING LAST MONTH.. I am 66 and suffer from extreme insomnia. She said she didn’t approve of the dosage even though I got a pre authorization the same day as the refill request due to switching insurance plans. She said she was now the manager and can do what she wants. I don’t feel that a pharmacist can contact my doctor to discuss my health and her opinions on my dosage. No prior pharmacist there or anywhere else has ever questioned this prescription and she saw my record showing years of the same dosage. I feel this violates HIPAA rules. I have taken this medication for over a DECADE with no issues with this or any other pharmacy. The same pharmacist also allowed the wrong medication to be delivered on the same day for a different medical issue which can have an adverse effect taken with the prescription I had picked up the previous day. There were 2 medications prescribed and one was a gel. The one delivered is a capsule which may cause nerve damage when combined with the other. I spoke to my doctor who told me she did not authorize the medication yet the pharmacist put the blame on the doctor saying it was prescribed but cancelled. They are still liable for delivering the wrong medication and it is their responsibility to contact the patient to alert them not to take it if any mistake on their part occurred. I feel the pharmacist didn’t like my complaint, therefore denied my prescription.
Customer service at the front for pharmacy is not good. Some are talking on the phone with Customers very rude. I called to ask for my medication if it's ready she told wait if you get a text means it's ready and then never received a text until I went to the pharmacy and they said oh you can pick them up in 20 mins then I got a call don't have them needs to be ordered. This happens alot recently. What type of pharmacy is this? When the patient is dead doesn't need a me one star is for who does the work for the Drs. and the Iranian lady who is usually at the front desk
Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Long lines. 1 person behind counter regardless of 15 people waiting. Then told prescription is not ready. Come back in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, told not ready, come back in 20 minutes. Rinse, repeat. This happen EVERY time I have to go there for my senior parents. Go to CVS in Target, Fallbrook and Victory. You will be MUCH happier. Save time. 0 STARS for WrongAid. How is this place STILL in business?
I have been getting prescriptions at this pharmacy for years. And EVERY TIME EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They tell me my prescription will be ready at this time. I come back hours and hours later and guess what still not ready if I arrive they say 30 more mins… and just waiting and waiting. COUNTLESS HOURS. I’m actually a very patient person but if you have sick person at the house. Don’t come here, they’ll die before you get your medicine. I do not advise you to have an account with them. THEY ARE THE WORSE. This is just evil. Please go to CVS instead.
The pharmacy takes forever here - they won't fill your rx's until you arrive, so expect to wait another 20 min every single time. Much worse than it used to be, I think it's because of the new staff. Anahit in particular was extremely rude and looked like she wanted nothing more than to leave; I suggest they let her.
I have called about inquiring of my prescription being ready- have been sent to an automated service loop. No one is answering any phones and can give 0 assistance. One loop lasted 40 minutes as I showered and got ready for work. Not like I need my meds that I’ll die if I don’t take.
Eleni sp the pharmacist was beyond amazing in helping me resolve a issue with my medication today, she went above and beyond to ensure I was not without my daily medicine since my insurance was not able to cover the high cost. I have never had any pharmacy associate go to the lengths she took to go over and break down me all my options and take the time to find a solution that works for me. Thank you!! 5 plus stars to this lady!
