I'm appalled at the treatment my grandson has endured due to this Rite Aids poor management. I hope that the managers of this establishment are ashamed of their behavior. Bless their hearts if they think this type of behavior is acceptable. I hope they make a formal apology to Keith and never discriminate against another person of color. White silence is white violence.
I'm glad HR handled the situation and management who of discriminated against my son in law. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. To the assistant Manger Stacey I hope next time you hold your superior management and yourself accountable and don't lie. Also please don't try to speak about law to my daughter until you pass the Bar exam. Thank you to the management, HR and employees who actually held others accountable.
I want to thank the HR representative and who reached out to me to personally apologize. Also a big thanks to Thomas Fitzgerald for helping me to be heard. Although I deserved an apology from Steve and Stacey for lying to and about me I do accept the apology on behalf of Riteaid and I have hope that this won't happen to anyone else at this Riteaid ever again!! If it does though please always advocate for yourself. I didn't say anything because i didn't think people would care but luckily my wife did and eventually so did Riteaid as well. Stay safe and shop well.
I'm revising my review of Riteaid because Karen Thiel and Thomas Fitzgerald are great employees of Riteaid. They took the time to listen and help my husbabd and I. They assisted in giving us some justice and some peace of mind. My husband got somewhat of an apology and we are now able to move on. Riteaid as a whole has always been a good company in my oponion. I hope they continue to stay that way by holding their employees accountable always. My advice if you are ever a person of color applying to work here or just shopping at this riteaid or any riteaid do not let people discriminate against you. Advocate for your rights and know that even if it seems like no one cares someone does!! Also heard the pharmacy is doing better. On schedule and answering phones more frequently and this store Is accesible.
My husband has daily prescriptions that he has to take, we're away from home but with rite aid we can call and get them filled. We called the north bend one because it's closer to us. We called 7 times using the automated phone directory. Finally I just called the number and dialed for a different department and was switched to pharmacy and than finally got an answer. She didn't even apologize for how many times I called and had an attitude when I explained that we were out of home town. Than rudely said they would be done late today. If my husband didn't need his medicine right away, I would've said forget it and drove an extra 20 miles to the next rite aid. They need to work on customer care alot more!!
This pharmacy commits medical negligence daily. They never answer their phones, never fill prescriptions when prompted by their own texts, and you have to personally go in to have it filled every single time. When you do go in you have to wait up to four hours. How does this serve a rural community and the sick and elderly and people with chronic pain to have to drive in when sick or without the resources to do so. I will never ever use this pharmacy again. They are a barrier to the access to proper medical care.
This location has a STELLAR staff! I'm hand-disabled & a stocker and the cashier this past Monday 6/6/2022 both helped me without making it seem awkward
Super helpful over the phone when I called in advance to make an inquiry. Had what I needed and were swift and courteous. I appreciated the thoughtful customer service.
I take daily meds that are NEVER ready on time. It's not healthy to be forced to go without depression meds and preventative asthma meds. Also, they are closed more often than.open.
Assistant Manager doesn't wear mask and then had attitude about it 'not really being the law'. Inappropriate in a wellness type setting during pandemic. Addendum: Went back two days ago, and everyone wore masks, and an employee even chased someone down and got her a mask but did let a middle aged male customer go without one. Rite Aid's response was AWESOME, so I'm bumping this review up.
