If I could leave a -5 review I would. The pharmacist who works here who is an older gentleman is very rude and not helpful. I have a baby that needs medication for his nebulizer. I originally had sent my prescription to CVS on Bob hope which is my regular pharmacy. They are out of stock as well as every other cvs in the valley. When I told him this information he laughed at me. Then he told me that I had to call the pharmacist there and have her call him to get it transferred. Like he couldn’t be bothered and just call them. Later in the day I called to ask if it had been sent over yet to which he replied no it hasn’t and we are about to close… it was 2:30 in the afternoon.. they close at 6. I called again this morning to see if it was ready to be picked up and he asked if I was the same lady who called yesterday about the medicine and I said yes. He said they had received no prescription. I called cvs to verify and they did send it. Now I had to call the hospital and just transfer it over there because my baby has gone almost a day and a half with no treatment. I am just one customer, but it wouldn’t surprise me if other people have difficulty getting appropriate service here.
I HAVE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT EVERY RITE AIDE IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY, NOT ONE COMPLAINT. ESPECIALLY AT THIS LOCATION THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL, FAST AND I FOUND EVERYTHING ON MY LIST WITH NO PROBLEM... THE PHARMACY STAFF WERE ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE TO ALL MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS REGARDING MY MEDICATIONS, AS ALWAYS, I LOOK FORWARD TO A GOOD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT MY LOCAL RITE AIDES! DANA WAGONER
Always excellent customer service here and who doesn't love Thrifty Ice Cream??? I do wish this store had a nicer layout however. The interior looks drab and sad but it's employees are great. Maybe corporate can do some work to make it look as nice as the Palm Springs store.
Probably the most difficult pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. There’s a serious power play in the way they will treat you, like the pharmacist wants to play doctor. They were extremely condescending to me. I’ve given them many chances to let things go smoothly with my medications, but there is ALWAYS a problem and it’s almost always been resolved because I told them how to view the situation and what they’re missing. Go elsewhere- at all costs
Love this rite aid. Employees & management are so nice & this location is always clean. Hardly ever long waits for pharmacy. Pharmacists aren't very friendly but do you ever see friendly Pharmacists. But they aren't rude either. I wish they had ice cream like back in the day.
Bad staff at the pharmacy will tell you to wait 30 min for your prescription then after 30 min they’ll make you wait another hour for it and tell you they’re behind, not fair made me waste a lot of my time. Don’t make people wait 30 min if your just gonna make then wait another hour!NEEDS BETTER PHARMACY STAFF
I paid for a prescription for a blind, elderly neighbor who gave me $100 and $20, both folded in half. Prescription $14- I paid with $100 thinking I paid with $20; I was given $6 in return. Later when I went to deposit her $100 - I only had $20 left!! I returned to Rite Aid Pharmacy, Sammy was on vacation so I was directed to Store Floor Manager Daniel. Basically brushed me off. I wanted Video proof I didn’t pay with $100 he said it was turned over to Theft and Robbery Dept.. Daniel would call me when he heard anything; after NO response 6 months, Daniel still hadn’t heard back!! Definitely brushed off! Needless to say, I Don’t shop Rite Aid @ Ramon Rd, Cathedral City anymore. Nor many neighbors who know this Blind, Elderly lady on a Fixed Income!!!
This is the first time that I have been to this Rite Aid and the store is very empty most of the shelves are empty or have big gaps there is about 25% of the store that is completely blocked off not in use they were only three or four other customers in the store on a Saturday afternoon so it was obvious that they're not doing particularly well
I think it’s cute the pharmacist thinks he knows more about my mental health needs than my doctor who has treated me for 5 years. 1 Star for not filling my prescription that my doc gave me to keep me well. Go somewhere else if you have mental health issues and need meds. The rest of the pharmacy techs are nice, but there isn’t much they can do with the pharmacist they have to listen to.
The location is convenient and parking is usually available, but there is no drive through window
