We had an amazing stay at this location. The staff was first rate, extremely kind, attentive and accommodating. We wanted to grill out early May, but there are no grills at this property and the staff worked their magic and found us an awesome gas grill to grill out. They even had some local craft beers, drinks, snakes and cutting board waiting for us. They called our room multiple times to check in on us, coordinated rides to town, informed us of great hiking nearby and obtained vouchers to use the nice community centers amenities because this location's pool was under maintenance. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom unit with lovely views of the mountains. The arly morning coffee bar was perfect to take on the go for a brief walk outside in the brisk fresh mountain air. Also, this property is literally adjacent to the lift, it doesn't get any more convenient for those looking to get on the lifts or hike up the mountain. Bring ice spikes if you choose to hike up the slopes in the morning in May.
I've had the good fortune to stay here 3 times now. This trip, I've been here for 5 days and cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire staff and management. They make you feel like family when you are here. Special thanks to Sasha, Faith, Michael, Ryan, Connor, Nacho, Chris, and Senya. I am so grateful for the hospitality. See you in the Spring!
I thought I had a review for this place already. The best of the best. The hotel is everything you deem of for a vacation. Accommodations are great? Beautiful views, excellent service, fun activities for the kids, … so, so great at all levels. Love the jacuzzi in the winter watching the skiers coming down the slopes. At night the sky is your dream house! Love Aspen, love this location. Their busy schedule is perfect to zip to and from town. Fresh fruit and cookies every day in the lobby . Super fun activity room, play room with games, books, a pool table and art supplies. I would go there every year!
As an owner very disappointed. The amenities are dramatically cut as the ski season ends. The experience is very frustrating when you are accustomed to Ritz Carlton service and you get something less. Ritz Carlton is not a good choice for near end of ski season visit to Aspen.Hotel highlightsLuxury
Very cozy lobby with a beautiful view of the mountainside. The fire of the fireplace also adds to the atmosphere. The interior is amazing.
I strongly recommend you do not stay here. You would think that paying $3000 a night you would receive good service, but that was not the case. All 3 people that stayed in my room were repeatedly harassed by a man named Sasha. I thought the Ritz cares about good service, but obviously not because they put Sasha as a manager. He is unnecessarily rude. This Ritz is not like any of the other Ritz's I've been to. They didn't clean our room multiple nights, and only left a note saying they wouldn't be able to clean our room. There are many better places to stay in Aspen for less money that are nicer and have better service.
I live next door and just recently went in for breakfast. Now I go three times a week. Mitch is a day maker. He is a ray of sunshine and the cup of coffee everyone needs! Love coming here. The staff make the entire experience. The food is also incredible as well :Service: 5/5
Even though The hotel is ski in ski out the staff can be a bit edgy also the hotel staff forgot to put pillow cases on my pillows
My husband and I have been Ritz owners for many years. While this property is lovely, I must agree with the reviews that have found that it is poorly managed. Vail, Tahoe & SF are so beautifully run. The people are professional, polite and knowledgable. Years ago we stayed for a week in Aspen and had a lovely time. This past year, we cancelled our Aspen plans and book Lake Tahoe because the interactions with Aspen to make arrangements made me so disappointed in their attitude that I didn't want to go. It worked out great because the management at Lake Tahoe like Vail was spectacular. What a shame.
LuLu waited on our party for lunch. She is incredible...working other server's tables. GM should consider her as supervising staff. Just now I'm watching LULU chatting with customers. She IS delightful!Service: 4/5
