The theater is organized, clean, staff are friendly, and the seating is the best. There isn't anyone directly in front of you, they're staggered seates so you're between someone's shoulders! You can see and hear the stage no matter where you sit! They put on Cowboy Bebop Live and i hope they do it again next year!
It was great to see the old theater refurbished and being used. The show was great and nostalgic with big band music and patriotic!!! We need more shows like it! And kudos for having beer and wine at the concession stand!!!!
My partner and I went to see Rocky 2! I cannot put into words how wonderful this theater and all of the staff are! Everyone was so kind and welcoming! I was wondering if perhaps you will eventually play Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter etc or are do you accept private viewings by reservation? Please let me know!
The music venue was excellent, sound a little off. Vendors at the bar were friendly and the theater was comfortable, clean, and a great location. 5 of us enjoyed the event.
Came here on Sunday to watch Murder on the Orient Express. The theater was clean and inviting. The bar had a good variety of options and was reasonably priced. The actors used microphone headsets which allowed us to hear them effortlessly. There are restrooms upstairs which help during the busy time during the intermission. The only concern I have is the seats are extremely narrow which cause people to rub shoulders while seated.
Atmosphere is neat. Was able to see a really good show. They also offer snacks like fresh popcorn, candies, chips, sodas, water, some juice, alcoholic beverages like wine & mixed drinks.
We attended the 100 year Anniversary of the Theatre tonight, and it was a wonderful event. Really great people and a beautiful theatre with an amazing history. Please, go see a play or movie, volunteer your time or better yet, make a donation. This is a rich and deserving venue that everyone will enjoy
Went to see Rocky Horror Show movie and got an interactive movie/play with audience participation. Once in a lifetime experience for this 77 year old.
We had a great time , laughter all night. If you have a chance to see William Lee Martin and Tim the Dairy Farmer you won't stop laughing. The staff at Wayne Densch performance art center was fantastic. If you have a chance they have other shows too. Thank you for a great night, much needed
Nice place for a comedy show. It was in the middle of downtown Sanford. Parking was kind of hard to find but likely because we went to see a big headline and it was Friday night. The building has an old 40s aura. I found the small bathroom and bar area on the first floor traditional to that era and intimate. The seats were spacious and I was glad to drink there. Clean place and good sound system. We were all asked to put up our masks though during intermission but the seating was already spaced out for covid, so that along with harder parking took off a star for me.
