I was instantly drawn to the philosophy of intrinsic goodness that Anusara® Yoga embodies after my first yoga class in 2007. Interested in studying the beauty of yoga, I completed a 228 hours Anusara Yoga Teacher Training in 2010 with my primary yoga teacher Karen Sprute-Francovich. I have completed more than 600 Anusara Yoga credit-hours, including a week-long therapeutic yoga training and a week-long yoga intensive with the founder of Anusara Yoga. I began teaching hatha yoga in 2009 and was approved to be an Anusara-Inspired™ Yoga Teacher in 2011. I have experience teaching a variety of yoga classes, including basics, gentle, mixed level, prenatal, and restorative.
What can you expect attending a class with Cami?
I apply the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment and heart oriented themes to help students experience a deeper connection within themselves. Expect a light-hearted and inspiring class, the focus will vary week to week to include twists, hip openers, back bends, and forward bends. Classes are appropriate for all levels of yoga students, each class will include basic alignment and modifications to adjust the level of challenge, and will also incorporate breath work (pranayama) and meditation.
