Come relax at our secluded spa and enjoy a massage, a signature wrap, tailored face & skin therapy or rejuvenate in our artesian thermal waters.
River Oaks Hot Springs Spa has been a gathering place and a source of rejuvenation and relaxation for many years. Our guests can restore balance and bring peace to their mind, body and spirit. Come soak in our geothermal mineral springs in the shade of a private open-air spa or release the stresses of life with a massage. The dramatic views of Paso Robles rolling hills and vineyards, the reflective lake, and of course, our magnificent geothermal mineral waters are the true luxuries of River Oaks Hot Springs Spa.
Our geothermal mineral spring water comes from an artesian well that has been drilled deep down below the drinking water basin to reach the thermal artesian aquifer. Our water is rich in minerals including calcium carbonate, magnesium, potassium, copper, iron, boron and zinc.
The main mineral found in our water is naturally occurring sulfur. Sulfur is known as Mother Nature's beauty mineral because your body needs it to manufacture collagen, which keeps your skin elastic and looking youthful. The odor you'll find in sulfur mineral baths is caused by sulfur dioxide escaping into the air. Sulfur has been used medicinally since ancient times, and it is contained in every cell in your body. Sulfur is found in approximately one quarter of one percent of your body composition, primarily in keratin, the building block of strong hair, nails and skin.
Other benefits of sulfur include: detoxification, pain relief from arthritis, ease red, itchy skin, builds flexible cells in arteries and veins, and helps maintain proper insulin function.
Situated half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, 20 minutes from San Luis Obispo, and two hours from the Central Valley, Paso Robles exists as one of the greatest natural thermal mineral aquifers in the region.
