River Of Life Christian School

Our kids had been going to Four Rivers charter school in Oregon. At their old school, they were constantly being picked on, bullied, called racist, even punched and choked. My daughter was picked on by school staff at her old school. When we decided to change schools, it was partly because of the bullies and because of Covid. We did not want our children wearing masks all day, not getting the proper oxygen they need. It was the best decision we ever made. My daughter didn’t want to change schools because she didn’t want to leave her friends, but after two weeks of going to River of Life, she told me, “Mom, I did not realize how bad Four Rivers was. I have nightmares that I still go to that school. It’s nice to actually have teachers that care now and we are actually learning things.” As for my son who has ADHD, and it’s nice to finally not dread parent teacher conferences. At the old school, he was constantly told that he was lazy and didn’t want to do his work. That couldn’t be further from the truth. He was not lazy, he was bored! He and my daughter are both on honor roll each semester and we hear nothing but good things about each of them. My son is in the school band and has learned how to play guitar and drums and is in many other electives. He is thriving at the school and we couldn’t be happier. If a problem arises with any of the other students, it is quickly addressed by the teachers instead of blamed on my son like at Four Rivers. Overall, we couldn’t be happier. Any negative reviews of this school are more than likely by students who broke rules and didn’t like being reprimanded. This is a Christian school, after all, and there are rules supporting morality.

I love being a part of this church and school. River of Life is why I've made Payette my home for over 20 years. My church family is dedicated, with a deep heart for God. I especially like the great sermons and powerful worship. I'm excited that our school has moved forward with accreditation, received credentials for 4 staff members, and updated our building. I enjoy teaching in the loving atmosphere where students can discover their ministry talents as well as prepare for the future.

My grandson was attending 1st grade until the school went on break due to the virus. I worked in the classroom once a week and liked what I saw. My grandson gave them some tough times and the school was willing to work with him. They have lots of patience!

Best school in town. The ratings education and ratio is top you can’t get that anywhere. Education is not something to mess with

Awful, my teacher treated me just awful. I was sabotaged and made to be a bad kid, even though I was good. I hated it. The teacher wasn't even qualified, I would ask for help and told to figure it out myself. Don't subject your kids to this.

Love thus church. Have been going there for as long as i can remeber
