Super great place to stay. Room was wonderful restaurant was great. Such a relaxing view. If you are Looking for a great place with a great view and a very hospitable owner call and make your reservation and get ready to just relax.

Amazing staff, owner and cook. The food is always great and the rooms are always clean and you have everything you need right at your fingertips.

This place was amazing!! Definitely a hidden Gem. The staff was very nice and helpful. We camped out and the spot we had was awesome. There is a large roaring Creek running through the property, so no matter where you are you can hear it. The property also had a huge hot tub out on the deck overlooking the creek, it was beautiful. There is also a restaurant and a bar on property as well. The food was great and the karaoke that night was super fun!! This property is still under renovation and there are some VERY minor flaws such as the sauna room almost felt like a storage closet, but that was only because they are in the process of making it better. There are only 4 rooms and a few camping sites, so the hot tub was very private and my husband and I had it by ourselves for over an hour. All you can eat breakfast on Sunday morning. What a great stay!! I'm definitely going back.

Booked the King room mid week for a couples night out on 10/13. The room is quaint with original oak flooring and Knotty Pine paneling. The bed is medium firm Memory Foam King size and I've never slept better. Right outside the window is a small waterfall and can be heard fine. Bring a couple of bundles of firewood and have a campfire on the banks of the river, share a bottle of wine. It's quiet, remote, and features some of the most amazing stone work on the property. This place has tremendous character, the room was spotless and Corey met us as we pulled up. He offers reduced rates through AIrbnb this time of year, and since we are local, it was just a very short drive. We could easily make this a monthly treat

I’ll give the room 3.5 stars for what it is, a rustic motel room at a good price. Was plenty clean and welcoming. Could use some water pressure and more outlets. Giving the restaurant 5 stars! Dinner was fantastic; delicious and the service was great. I had the steak and my kid had chicken fingers. Price was reasonable also. I think the owners are new, from what I read, and there is some remodeling being done. Didn’t actually meet them, do to timing and our schedules, however Cory was great to work with and everything was taken care of. Online and texting.

Wonderful experience!! We wanted something close to us and good so thought we’d try it out. The food was great, the waitress was delightful, and the atmosphere by the river was calm and peaceful. We wanted to try a little of everything so we tried the Steak, Veggie Burger, chicken fingers, Tiger Burger and the onion rings. We were not disappointed. We were so pleased we decided to finish it off with the cobblers. We went away pleasantly plump. We will definitely be going back.

Friday night,steak night! Also had the crab legs to go with it. Meal was prepared quick,and they had a full house! So no complaints here. Good meal at a great price! Staff and owner are really friendly, always making sure we didn't need or want for anything.

This place is great. The staff treats you like family, there is a beautiful brook that runs behind the rooms and the restaurant outdoor balcony. There is a also a pool table and a bar. Corey and his family and staff are super accommodating and nice. True Appalachian hospitality that I could not recommend more highly. I will be back!Rooms: 5/5

Well, let's just say that it's unique. My wife had seen it on Facebook and wanted to try it out. We had been there many years ago when it was the Red Lion Inn and had a real sense of charm. We entered and there were no customers, very plain tables with nothing on them, a bar, and a karaoke set up?? Our waitress was pleasant but everything felt a little rushed. Had an appetizer which was good, and ordered our meals, which included salads. Our salads came out and within a couple of minutes our meals came out. We had virtually no time to eat our salads. The dishes were good nothing spectacular. There were more people there as we left and karaoke was cranking up. My point with all of this is this. It's hard to figure out what this place really is. They have a bar, but can only serve beer and wine. The decor looks like an old honkytonk with a mishmash of odd tables and chairs. They seem to want to be a decent restaurant, but it's not a very inviting environment to want to sit and have a glass of wine after dinner with karaoke blaring and a truck outside with a big rebel flag hanging off of the back. We all enjoyed our meal, but agreed that we probably wouldn't be back.

What a great place!! Food, atmosphere, people..all stellar!! This is a fabulous place to hang out and enjoy a meal, a drink and some pool!! Clean, comfortable atmosphere by a beautiful creek. Loved it!! If you haven't been, you are really missing out. Hope the locals will support them so we will have them for a long time!!
