This was the absolute coolest trail ride imaginable. In one hour, we covered pasture, woods, and waterways. The staff were kind and knowledgeable and my kids absolutely loved it! They picked the right horse for each kid’s size and abilities. We were able to make same-day reservations and we were the only family on this particular trail ride. I really loved the solid steps to mount the horses - they r thought of everything.
This was an amazing experience. Horses are so well maintained and the trainers are young, energetic and caring. My daughter is only 6 year old and I requested trainer to take care of her. Well, even if I did not mention, may be she would have taken care. The trainer made sure they took care of all the kids in our group. Horses walked through thick forests, trails and crossed river streams. Absolutely beautiful horses, friendly staff and would strongly recommend this team to everyone. I felt they are doing so much to maintain these horses. It is so impressive.
Speedy and kindsley were awesome. They spoke to us the whole way. Keeping conversation going. Made the ride fun. My kids loved it so much had to go back for second time.
Man, River Man trail rides was the best decision on our Vacation. We did a group ride and loved it so much we came back the next morning for a private ride. They have some beautiful horses. And the staff is exceptional. Shannon, kinley, and daisy are awesome guides, so helpful and respectful, very knowledgeable about riding horses and were so nice while teaching us. The lady working the front desk was very sweet and helpful too. We will DEFINITELY be back when they do the 2 and 3 hour rides again. Y'all made our vacation one to remember. Thank you so much! Can't wait to do it again!
What a great time! All of the Staff were great. My kids 7 & 11 wanted to go back the next day to do it again! It was a nice scenic ride. My kids never felt nervous while on their own horse which they had never done before. The horses were very calm and knew what they were doing. Call to get directions and make sure not to go back roads as it sounds like it could be an issue. We saw two Bald Eagle while on the ride. Letting the horses drink was a fun experience as well. The ride through the woods was nice. The river crossing and looking off of the bluff was the highlight. It we ever make it back to the area we will do this again!
My husband and I did a trail ride and it was awesome!!! Definitely the best thing we did while in Broken Bow! The people there were so nice and fun. I wanted to do it everyday again until we left! We will definitely be back with our kids.
We went on a trail ride in less than ideal weather at 49° and rainy but it was quite possibly the best trail ride I’ve ever been on! Our guides gave us the full experience despite the weather. I loved that it was just our small group and the two guides, Macy and the other girl’s name started with a B I’m sorry…they were so funny and we had a great time getting to know them. I would absolutely love to do it again!
The 2-hour tour with Bailey and Daisy was fantastic. Our horses were very well trained, with very individual personalities. The trail ride was gorgeous, with amazing views of the hills. Crossing the river was a highlight. Can’t recommend Riverman Trail Rides enough. Perfect experience.
An amazing experience. My daughter was scared 10yo and Shannon, our guide, led her horse 2.5 miles until she was comfortable taking the reins. He was calm, patient, and friendly - I was new, as was my family, to riding horses. They did a great job assisting us and the trail was amazing - hill tops, pastures with horses and cows, a trek through the river bottom, and just great scenery all together. If you want to really ride a horse, appreciate their magnificence, and get a true experience ok a horse - look no further! I would have paid twice the affordable price - support real cowboys, local family business, and get a great authentic experience!
So much fun! The guides were awesome and the ride had plenty of terrain challenges that made it feel like an authentic trail ride. We went through lots of trees and even through some shallow water. The horses were very gentle. They provide easy on, off to get up on them. Very reasonable reasonablely priced.
