Rivers Edge Wine & Spirits

Had a great time here! Excellent wines and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can tell that the staff gets along really well and treat each other as family. That warmth and positivity really comes through in their high quality wines! Great variety of wines with all local grapes and many unique flavors.

We enjoyed our visit to River's Edge very much. We stopped for a tasting and enjoyed chatting with Mike very much. He was entertaining and informative. The tasting and their wines were very reasonably priced. We purchased a bottle of their Elkton Cuvée Pinot Noir. It was delicious! Wish we had more! The tasting room was small, but ample sized for the four of us. Five out of five - do recommend!

We visited a couple of the vineyards in Elkton and River’s Edge was by far our favorite. Colin was very knowledgeable of the wines and the region and made our group’s tasting experience great! We were feeling like we were in an RV caravan heading east on Hwy 38 and wanted a change of scenery. We like side trips and we like wine so we decided to stop in River’s Edge Winery on the corner of River Dr and Hwy 38. We are glad that we did. Colin Dudley did a great job of educating us on the wine and telling the story of the winery. All the wines that we tasted were excellent. We like trying unique varietals and we bought a couple bottles of their 2016 Baco Noir. We tasted the wine about week later and regret not buying more. We visited two other wineries that day and it reminded me of Sonoma County 40 years ago.

I recently spent a few days with my daughter in Oregon and we decided to go for a wine tasting at River's Edge. It was the best experience we could have had. Amazing wines, a great conversation with one of the employees sorry, I can't remember his name, hummingbirds outside the window and lots of free running turkeys for entertainment. Just ordered a case of wine, because it was definitely worth it.

I love love LOVE stopping by this winery on my way to the coat. As a Native Oregonian, Pinot Noir is in my blood! Not really, but you get what I'm saying: I'm a fan of the varietal. Rivers Edge has some of the best Pinots! And they new guys that took over are super knowledgeable and friendly when it comes to tastings. In addition to Pinots, the do a bunch of fun whites including a Sparkling! Rivers Edge knocks it out of the park with service and wine style. I highly recommend giving them a try when you're in the adorable town of Elkton.

We always enjoy a trip to pickup our wine club order. Mike is very friendly and knowledgeable- and answers questions without making you feel ignorant ! PS: Don't tell anyone how good the Pinot Noir is - let's keep that our little secret

We had a great tasting experience at Rivers Edge! Our tasting was very personalized to us and we enjoyed learning all about the winery! We ended up leaving with a couple bottles and will definitely be having some shipped to our home town. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates great wine and quality service!

We had greatly desired to visit this winery after having one of their earlier wines gifted to us. Our experience there with Mike was very satisfying until we asked to purchase a wine that apparently only members are allowed to purchase. We were prepared to purchase two memberships one as a gift until we were directed to contact another employee who has absolutely no social skills and obviously was upset that we were directed to him. We now regret visiting, or even purchasing their wine and will NEVER return.

The tasting experience at River's Edge was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the wine they're making. Their Pinot Noir is excellent and after spending a week tasting throughout the Umpqua and Willamette Valley was my favorite of the trip. Prices were very reasonable and shipping available.
