Thanks for constantly ticketing a student and student worker who makes below minimum wage $14/hour. I've already tried to contest THEM and your responses were NO. I have four tickets and I'm already struggling to pay them. The website doesn't allow students to get a parking permit for another vehicle once they have gotten the first one- YOU know this and yet you still ticket. I understand the need for spaces but the area I park in is basically an empty lot. Give students a break.
Like to harass disabled people on their placard for parking in handicap spaces, do you? Shame on you RCCD campus police. Just because someone looks young does not mean they are not disabled. My wife was harassed by one of your female officers today, first by standing in the handicapped space and not allowing my wife to park. When my wife politely asked the officer to move, she took her time to exit the space. Why would someone do that unless they came from an evil place? Then to add insult to injury, clearly because she didn’t believe my wife was disabled, she demanded proof that she was issued her disabled placard in an extremely rude way. My wife suffered a hemorrhagic stroke two weeks after our third child was born and is hemiplegic as a result, officer. You’d never know unless she exited her vehicle started walking. Your officer is a perfect example of discrimination plagued by your profession. For shame, RCCD campus police. Shame on you.
Tried to pick up my son a student here at RCC, after an event, a little after 9pm. GPS took me to the destination my son sent which was Evans park. Literally 1 minute in the parking lot, 2 pi---police officers profile me; after 3 more minutes they light me up and hostily shake me down for my ID timelines of calls and video prove this. Since RPD is a supreme judge of character, it's ok to assume this pi---police officer is a homosexual meth-addict; right? Well, at least from me you get empathy, versus the hostility RPD shows. At the least a formal complaint is pending, at the most, a lawsuit.
This is my 4th parking ticket for no reason. They waived two that they mistakenly gave out, but it is a pain because I cannot contact any of them through call. I am still so confused and very frustrated.
This is a great department. The officers care about the safety of the college students, staff and community.
