Since 1901, Riverside Community Hospital has been a vital part of the Inland Empire region, and for decades people in the community have depended on the hospital for comprehensive healthcare and its highly specialized services.
Today, Riverside Community Hospital is investing $315 million in the health of the community through the construction of a major hospital expansion project to meet the needs of a growing community, and to ensure an even higher level of care and service. Scheduled to be completed in 2018, the expansion and renovation project will give Riverside Community Hospital the ability to better serve the Inland Empire Region by improving access to healthcare with a total capacity of 445 acute-hospital beds.

The widening project will reconstruct the bridge and widen the on/off-ramps in both directions at 14th Street. Other improvements include moving the 9th Street westbound on-ramp to 10th Street, widening the on/off-ramps at Central, Arlington and Madison, and replacing the bridges at Cridge and Ivy Streets.

To accommodate demolition and construction of the new bridge, the northbound traffic on 14th Street will shift to the remaining side of the bridge on Friday, September 14th. One lane will be available in each direction. This is a two year project and is expected to be completed by late 2014. As a result, we at Riverside Community Hospital have provided alternative routes to access the hospital.

1. From 60 Fwy, exit Market St. towards Downtown Riverside.

Recently just Experian unexpected and tragic family situation here at this hospital and for that reason alone I’ll forever remember this location. Obviously nobody seeks to find themselves in a hospital for any reason aside from work and even though must be difficult, albeit if you end up here you’re in good hands. Staff was very social and informative excluding one security guard who has no people skills whatsoever who are dealing with horrible circumstances. I understand rules are placed for various reasons the public may be unaware of but consider training security to properly enforce such rules when dealing with the public as you never know who’s going through what. Cafeteria doesn’t seem friendly at all, small cafe was a great escape from the situation and worker there was nice, but she deserves some AC or proper ventilation as poor thing is working in a small confined room with evident heat from cooking with only a small cheap fan. Ugly conditions for anyone to work in several hours. There are rooms to wait in with TV”s that don’t work and when approached about them you receive lackluster responses. Nothing visible for kids of any kind to remain entertained while adults deal with important issues. Everything was very clean, gift shop has quite a few of things from electronics to get well bears and cards among snacks and drinks. Parking is complicated but always usually lower levels and an adjacent building with available sections. Elevators are pretty disgusting near the button area outside but pretty well kept. Overall a good hospital to find yourself in if a situation were to arise.
We had a great experience in this establishment. The doctors and nurses know what they were doing and we were really comfortable. They kept us informed on how my mum was doing. The only thing is, get to the hospital early to get a nice parking. Other than that I will refer this clinic to everyone. They are so respectful to us with a smile. The head nurse and physical therapist was awesome. Thank you so much for all you do.
I’m writing this review with pure satisfaction the second time around. When I went into labor with my son it was in 2020 peak covid and I unfortunately found out day of I was positive and wasn’t allowed to have any support including husband. I was a first time mom going through it alone and had some of the rudest nurses ever who truly scarred me and deprived me of what should have been such a relatively beautiful experience. The second time around I was nervous with the expectations I’d have a similar experience. I’m overjoyed to state it was not the same. I had the sweetest nurses that I want to shout out so shout out to nurses Savanna, Shelley, Jessy, Martha, Leo, and Carissa from the labor and delivery unit. They came without a sigh or hesitation when I was in need. They never smirked or made evident faces of being bothered. They Really just made up for my first time experience and for that I’m grateful.
I've never been to a hospital that's given such great care as this one. I spent a month at a different hospital when my Dad had cancer and it was quite the Odyssey. This time it was unfortunately my turn to deal with an accident I had while skydiving. The ER staff was phenomenal. Even the nurse in the entrance was just amazing to deal with. I was scolded a few times while I waited for x-ray's, even though my wait was a couple of minutes. I just like to walk and pace around, even with a broken butt bone lol. I ordered Uber Eats and the nurses brought it to me. I ended up getting admitted and didn't wait much for a bedroom. The hospital staff was also amazing. I was checked on constantly and anything I needed was given stat. Big props to nurses Jonalyn and Hannah from the 5th floor of the new wing. Also, there's an a la carte menu for food, ha! First world hospital I guess! Also, tons of hot nurses, from when you walk in. Even my girlfriend was checking dudes and girls out at this hospital. She said it looked like we were watching Gray's Anatomy or some similar show, lol!
I just delivered my second baby at Riverside community hospital again and I would just like to thank all the nurses and staff that were there during my delivery! It was definitely not how I planned to have my baby however all the ladies were so supportive! A special thank you to the nurse Tori and the clerk I believe her name is Anita! Such great woman and made me feel extremely grateful to have them apart of this delivery!
5/23. Dr. Ravi is an amazing doctor. He is thorough, caring, sensitive, honest and even mannered. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, he does not rush you though your appointment and I feel like he explores all possibilities. I have had many doctors and many procedures, including the procedures he performed on me, and he is by the the best out of all of them! The scheduling of appointments and procedures was made with ease and done in a timely manner, where in the past I have had to wait more than 6 months to see a specialist. His office and hospital staff were incredibly kind and compassionate. I’ve never had a better hospital visit than what I had with Dr. Ravi and the staff at Riverside community hospital. Every single person I encountered for my procedure was just so helpful and so kind and so caring. Overall, I really did have a great experience even at my highest moment of anxiety. One hundred percent of the time, I felt like I was able to put complete trust into Dr. Ravi and his staff. With out a doubt, he is one of the very best that you can trust. The entire hospital staff from calling me to confirm my appointment, to walking into the front desk, to getting me into hospital bed and then finally into the operating room….absolutely amazing treatment!!!! Everyone had a smile on their faces. Everyone was just so kind. I cannot get over the fact that this was just a really great experience for me from start to finish.
First, I want to say that everyone was very kind. Gold stars for kindness. As far as care, it lacked. My injury was a result of a fall where I broke my nose and tore up my hands in an effort to break my fall. I knew my nose was broken and I set it in place myself. The paramedics were outstanding. They gave me better medical attention than the hospital staff. When I arrived at the hospital I was given an ice pack for my nose. The doctor didn’t really examine me, he just looked at my nose and said it looked straight. He did ask for a CT scan just to make sure everything was OK. That, I appreciated. I asked several times for someone to get me some antiseptic to put on my hands. No one ever attended to or cleaned my abrasions. I’m thankful it wasn’t worse than it was because, in my opinion, Riverside Community has gone down hill quite a bit in the past few years.
Had a bravo procedure done and loved how sweet the receptionists were. The staff overall was very kind and caring. They were attentive to every patient who was coming in for different things. They were smiling and telling people hello and asking if you’re comfortable or if you need anything. Been to different hospitals and this was the first time I felt comfortable and safe at a hospital for my visit.
My ER visit was only 2 hours long for an issue urgent care couldn't handle but that wasn't a huge emergency either. Every staff, nurse, doctor here was friendly, fast, and very caring and thorough. Nice, clean, modern facility too.
RCH, was recommended to me, last week I had acidity attack and admit here quickly. They responded highly, also attentively. Nurse were very friendly and prompt. Just look not so cleaned but okay, I think need to be clean more as well.
