A safe school district within a safe neighborhood. Smaller than surrounding districts. Offers alot of wonderful options to kids who attend. Can even cater to special needs kids. We moved out of Mentor Schools to relocate and love the area and the district.
It is a long walk for handicap people from the parking lot to the auditorium. When we got to program, all the doors to the auditorium were locked except one. If you are having a program, open the doors.
First off some of the students commenting are un-informed and some are totally ridiculous. Google needs to review the reviews better and eliminate half of them. My son has gotten a good education for the most part, but they need to eliminate the tenure status. Those teachers don't care if the students learn. Communication at the higher grade level needs improvement. They do have programs for students who are not involved in sports. Parents need to get involved and take responsibility for some of the issues the students are complaining about!
For all of you Ohioian's that live in P'ville, I just want to say Riverside High School is a beautiful school and facilities. I attended a high school football game there last night to watch my son's football team The South Rebels lose a barn burner to Riverside. I was amaze with just how strong the community is there. Everybody and their grandmother was in attendance. Plenty of parking, families tailgating together, just a load of support for the football team. So folks if anyone is moving to Painsville, Ohio, I just want to say it does NOT Pain me to recommend a peek at this school for your children.
Very nice school. The girls at the concession stand were absolutely adorable. Thank you for having us.
I love th fact how no bathroom doors have locks and how the lecture room teacher acts towards the student who don't do anything bad she blames all of us and I don't find that ok oh and I found 3 July pods in the auditorium and I found a njoy pod outside in the parking lot
Great district, amazing teachers and staff. New schools are gorgeous and really cater to the students.
Hell in a crumbling building. Good memories though.
The school is decent but they don't stick with what they say and they treat everyone different they don't seem to care about bullying too much either
A wonderful group of teachers very dedicated to the students I have the kids already graduate high school from Riverside and my others are currently in elementary school.
