So incredibly disappointed. We have been coming here for years with our family 3 trailers. We booked a year in advance TOGETHER. They then introduce a fee that would cost us an additional up to 450 dollars 15 per night per trailer to guarantee our group stays together. I’ve never seen such a fee imposed at any other campground, private or provincial. We can’t afford that, and so we were separated. Our biggest trailer was in a site so small the awning couldn’t be put out due to a lack of maintenance with the branches, and very little space for our chairs. Also, for the price we’re paying the bathrooms need to be far better maintained. Having no toilet paper or paper towel, someone else said they called the number on the door and was advised it was for emergencies like flooding only. Someone having a #2 and having no toilet paper sounds like an emergency to me! More money for poorer service. Sadly, we will be looking elsewhere for our annual family reunions if they are going to continue down this path. We loved this place for its location and for our kids, so it’s a big bummer for us to say goodbye to a family tradition.
This is a great campground! The staff was very welcoming and professional when checking in. Our campsite was clean and beautiful. The shower was free and the facilities were clean. The location was great and the bike trail was right next to the campground, which was a plus! It is important to note that upon making reservations on-line, you do not get to choose your campsite unless you pay an extra $15.00 per night. For us, they chose the perfect site! Great place to camp!
Excellent clean and tidy campsite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great washing machine area. Lovely walks through woods and camp ground. Saw a black bear close up on the Frisbee golf course which was amazing. Would highly recommend this campsite.
Definitely one of the best campgrounds we have ever trailed into excellent service, all amenities work and are clean. Like all campgrounds these days spots are fairly narrow but they at least tried with some natural growth barriers between sites. If you go you have to try the Thai Food restaurant on site it's truly great food.
We did the walk in tent camping. The site was clean and large. A tad to close to the neighboring site, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The shower and bathroom facilities were tip top shape and very clean. There was a fire ban in effect so no cooking on the camp fire but they do have community BBQs that you are more then welcome to use. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The site is located in an amazing location just outside of Olympic village. It connects to several trails for bikes and hikes. It’s also in walking distance to several beautiful lakes. The site itself has a bbq area, a camp fire ground, a volleyball court and a playground for kids. Never feel bored during the week staying there. And the service is good and fast. The only thing that is disappointing is the cleanliness in the cabin. It’s very dusty and still has food stain on the floor when we checked in. The room was so full of dust that I and my friend both had allergies on our skins, noses and throats. I wish they can improve that soon.
Great campground with yurt, cabins and RV spots available as well. Has all the amenities to make it more comfortable for the kids and the 'not so outdoorsy types'. Had a great stay here on the campground and yurt. Next time we plan on booking the cabin
We rented a log cabin for 12 nights in September. The log cabin was extremely dirty. There was so much dirt, as if you had not cleaned for several weeks! The dishes and pans were also dirty and greasy! Very bad!! We complained, but: The staff was unable to clean and tidy the log cabin. I then cleaned the Log Cabin myself for 3 hours. My wife washed all the kitchen utensils herself. So we could then spend the 12 days in a clean house. The Log Cabin is quite expensive, so one might expect the best in cleanliness. Unfortunately, the complete opposite was the case. Therefore a very bad rating. Very positive: The location of the Riverside RV Resort is very good. Whistler is a 30-minute walk away, and the surrounding area offers a wide variety of hiking and biking trails.
We had the best time at this RV park! The amenities are amazing from the free bbqs, to the great washrooms and free showers and even took time to play some mini golf! Lol it’s right on the valley trail and regardless what Google tells you it’s only steps away from the beautiful green lake and such a beauty walk to the village! We stayed about a week longer than anticipated and moved 3 times to different spots but an amazing guy Danny who works here always found a way to fit us in as we had no reservations. I def recommend resos but this person always greeted us with a smile and the best personality you could ask for! Thank you riverside and Danny! Much love E3,H6 and D1!
Stayed in a cabin for weekend. Main bed extremely hard mattress. Couch feels like springs poking. Over all good experience though. Has kitchen, bathroom/shower all the basics.
