Riverview Motel

There was no phone in the room the TV didn't work no clock and then I had to get a man from one of the rooms to come and help me turn my heat on because the office was closed and you could not call them. That was a very bad experience but what do you expect I guess for $60 a night. I hope they upgrade their rooms so at least you will have the heat turned on and a phone and the TV works. But the people that own the place are very pleasant

The room was clean and the location is really nice. The cafe wasn't open on the weekend so just a small in-room coffee pot for coffee in the morning.Rooms: 4/5

This is a charming motel right on the Greenbriar River in Alderson, WV, an adorable town with lots of personality. The owner and family are so friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and ROKU TV so you can watch local channels, or one of your favorite streaming channels. Terri and fam had just gotten up the Christmas decorations and they were adorable. Will definitely stay again, and highly recommend.

Very friendly people. We were there for a funeral and she had the maid give us the key and we pay her later. Beds are great. Clean beautiful flower around the grounds. And her restaurant was good.

Terri was just wonderful and she makes a mean homemade sourdough cinnamon roll My room was super clean and my view of the river was the best!The whole town is friendly and I literally cried leaving. This will a new stomping ground for me!!! P.S Watch your speed! Local cops are diligent:

Great stay. Nothing fancy, but worked. Coworker & I had truck issues that night and got in late - owners set us up with a room. Our repairs wern’t to be done until 5pm that day, and rain was looking near, so the owners got us a temporary room to hang out in for the day while we waited. 10/10 will stay here again - great folks.

Owners treat you like family. Maid service is exceptional and very proficient at the work. You will have one of the best down home experiences you can find. The Gas Station next door is sometimes the best breakfast biscuit you can find. And you will always leave with a smile

Owners are courteous and although they live right in the middle of the motel, are not overbearing, but someone is always there if you need help. The housekeeper, Bev, she does her job well, goes above and beyond what is required of a housekeeper, very sociable & helpful, courteous and kind.
