My grandfather had to be treated after a choking episode on Thanksgiving day. The staff at Riverview were amazing. They took such good care of my grandfather; showing compassion and excellent clinical knowledge! We were exceptionally impressed with Dan, RN. Dr. Ford, and Jennifer, RT.
Five stars ain't enough. I can't say enough good about these folks. Amazing how quickly they got me in a bed and went to work. No problem whatsoever concerning my service dog. He was there with me the whole time.
The Emergency room doctor, Zachary Gayle, was absolutely horrible. I usually have a very good experience here, but this is the second time that I saw him, and I was very disappointed. He not only diagnosed me and treated me for something I did NOT have, he also is a complete smart alleck with absolutely no beside manner. However, the nursing staff, along with the student nurse that day, were absolutely Amazing.
Worst place ever. Dr Anthony McCraven is, by far, the worst Doctor in the world! Very disrespectful to children! He basically thinks everyone is lying, even the poor sick kids!
Great, awesome, super nice!!!!! Daphne McCall and all the other staff did a great job with my out patient surgery. The surgical staff and Dr. Terry were outstanding.
This hospital deserves 0 starts but it won’t let me do it. I had surgery yesterday at Centennial in Nashville, well one of my glued incisions busted open and was bleeding so I went to Riverview considering it was the closest ER. Dr. Solomon the one that looks like a hoo from hooville look at it while it was bleeding, clean it, threw some triple antibiotic cream on it, and a regular band aid to hold it together. Needless to say, I am currently at Centennial where my surgery was as typing this and the way he took care it at Carthage was very unprofessional according to my surgeon. DO NOT GO TO RIVERVIEW UNLESS YOU EITHER WANT TO DIE, GET AN INFECTION, or BE SENT HOME TO FIX SOMETHING THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED.
I was sent up here only for x-rays by my Dr. The lady who took my insurance information was rude, disrespectful, condissending, and insensitive. She even berated me over the phone . Everyone else was super.
My daughter was in terrible pain about 4am and this was the closest hospital. She also suffers from an autoimmune disorder so my fear was compounded. However, we were checked in quickly and she was quickly seen. It was like they understood my feelings as the nurses talked to me an Dr. Rutherford examined my daughter. They were so professional that I forgot to be apprehensive and they eased her discomfort. Needless to say she was admitted but the entire staff was exceptional and Dr. Rutherford was very personable. While I don't want 2 experience that again I am grateful to Dr. Rutherford , the nurses and staff at Riverview Medical Center.
Ive been to probably 70/80 hospitals and this is by far the absolute worst one. honestly if i got shot, i would either go to the next town overs hospital or just die. because you'd end up dying waiting in the lobby anyways
The ER nurses and doctors are great with children. I've been here two times on two different occasions with my kids, the most recent visit involved my daughter getting stitches. The RN and doctor were so great with explaining what they were doing all while calming my daughter down. They really cared and made a traumatic experience as easy as they possibly could. I appreciate their compassion and so did my little girl.
