Description

Riverview Retreat and RV Park is located along the beautiful Missouri River and adjacent to Lake Contrary. Open year-round, Riverview offers 6 full hookups for recreational vehicles with 30 or 50 amp electrical, water, sewer, WiFi and cable. The Retreat House is fully furnished and sleeps six.

Enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, boating, or just relax as you watch the river roll by.

Our private park-like setting includes recreation areas and fire pits, three fishing platforms at river level, and private concrete boat ramp to the Missouri River. Or venture next door to the beautiful Lake Contrary Park with public boat ramp to the lake, dock, swimming beach, picnic areas, playground, sports fields and more.

Had a good stay with homely feeling at the property. Food was delicious with variety. Their High tea is special and not to be missed. Staff was very generous and Interactive. Property has great river view with sufficient deck space to enjoy same. We stayed in superior room which had better space than cottage room. Washroom size was big. A lot of trees which give it a stunning view.
We stayed at Riverview for 2 nights. It's a magnificent property with scenic view. The hotel staff is very prompt and cordial, always ready to assist. The restaurant staff ensures to meet your special dietary preferences. Breakfast spread and all food options are all super delicious. They do assist with safari tour bookings and other transport. We searched many properties before finalizing this, and would suggest do not think twice to book this resort.
We had the most incredible experience at Riverview Retreat in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, where we celebrated our two-day wedding event. The picturesque setting next to the river provided the perfect backdrop for our celebrations. Starting with the mehendi by the river deck followed by the engagement in the boho-themed setting the tone for a joyous celebration. The after party that followed was a lively and memorable affair. The haldi ceremony by the poolside was a unique and refreshing twist, and kudos to Mr. Ajay for suggesting the invigorating pool dip – it was an absolute highlight! And then, the wedding ceremony itself, held by the river under the moonrise. The blend of Indian traditional customs with the serene natural surroundings created an unbelievable atmosphere. I must mention the exceptional care provided by Ajay, Anthony, Dinesh, and the entire staff. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and constant dedication ensured that every guest felt valued and comfortable throughout the event. From organizing seamless transitions between the events to accommodating our needs, they truly went above and beyond. The memories we made during our wedding will forever be etched in our hearts, and we owe a huge thanks to the Riverview Retreat team for making it all possible. Allow me to share my wonderful experience at this exceptional resort. Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The resort's ambiance exuded tranquility and elegance, instantly putting us in a relaxed and celebratory mood. The beautifully landscaped grounds, adorned with lush greenery and stunning views, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable birthday getaway. We would like to extend our compliments to The Riverview Retreat staff for an amazing stay. Room : We booked superior room. Room and washroom size were bigger than cottage . Property is a bit old styled but gives decent hill style feeling. Property : Entire property is spread with variety of beautiful trees loaded with mango in summer season. Staff is very polite and friendly, At moments they will make you feel as you know them since long . Swimming pool, Bar and Restaurant is near River bed which attracts you to be more there than your room. Sports area is also available with TT, chess, etc Food : Being vegetarian we had all options. Room service was quick. Food was tasty and portion size was enough for two people. Restro dining was very comfortable with staff providing every stuff for you. Their Tea is best and to be tried by everyone. Parking : Parking was a bit conjusted but staff was there to co-ordinate. Our car was 7 seater long and got easily parked. Reception : Clean and with Ample space . Ambience was superb with Pahadi Vibes. Thanks to all staff and espicially Chandan Joshi . As a visitor we got a carton of mangoes from property . Appreciate this gesture.
5 stars for overall experience. The view of the river, especially in evening, is spectacular. Hotel property is great and service is even better - entire staff is very helpful and always sport a smile. Only negative is food. 1st, the taste is not great, both buffet and alacarte. However, my kid liked it. 2nd, options in buffet are limited. They should reduce the price of buffet to max Rs. 700 so that customers find value. Overall, it was a satisfying stay.
